Each of us can benefit in innumerable ways from chanting God’s Name. It is said that chanting God’s Name continuously keeps us in communion with God and can liberate us from the bondage of life and death.

Chanting of God’s Name purifies the subtle-body, and helps one to achieve the state of advait (Non-duality). This article explains how one can achieve spiritual progress through chanting.
Chanting God’s Name helps in alleviating physical and psychological ailments, increasing concentration, reducing sorrow, nullifying all sins, and is useful even after death.
It is beneficial to offer the patri (Specific leaves offered during worship) of those flower plants which are favourite of the Deity. Patri is related to the colour particles, whereas the flowers are related to the fragrant particles.
When flowers associated with a Deity are offered to that Deity, for example red flowers to Shri Ganapati, the benefit derived of the Principle of that Deity is greater.
Mankind has been advised to abide by Achardharma (Code of righteous conduct). Man benefits from sattvikta (Purity) when he abides by Dharma, and the influence of Raja-Tama (Activity and ignorance) components on him reduces. The conducts to be followed include daily routine, consumption of meals, wearing of clothes and ornaments etc. People do not abide by Achardharma in Kaliyug.
