Nasik : Procession to create awareness to celebrate new year on Gudhi Padava

Nasik : It is the duty of every person to preserve and protect own culture and every Hindu should perform his duty; celebrating New Year on Gudhi Padava i.e. the early morning of ‘Chaitra Shuddha Pratipada’ instead of at midnight of 31st December, was the appeal made through a procession taken out in CIDCO area on 24th December for creating awareness amongst people. The awareness- procession was started from Shri Sai Mandir, Morwadi by Sanatan’s Saint H.H. (Shri.) Mahendra Kshatriya performing ‘puja’ of ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ and was concluded at Shri Durgamata Mandir at Trimurty Chowk.

About 600 people including 550 students and 24 teachers from Smt. Saraswati Gulabrao Patil Secondary School; Janata Vidyalay from Pavan nagar, Krantiveer Vasantrao Narayanrao Naik Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha’s Madhyamik Vidya Mandir, Hindi Prathamik Vidyalaya and Adarsh Prathamik Vidyalaya; Shri. Kakaji of Yoga Vedanta Samiti and his seekers, Shri. Shashidhar Joshi of Hindu Janajgruti Samiti (HJS), Sou. Vaishali Katkade of Ranaragini Division and Sanatan Sanstha’s seekers participated in the procession.

All teachers from K. B. H. Vidyalaya and R. B. H. Vidyalaya from Pavan Nagar stood on both sides of the road to welcome the procession; raising slogans.
