The period of 48 minutes before sunrise and after sunset is called as ‘transient’ period. Since this transient period is conducive to arrival of negative energies, sesame oil lamp is lit in front of Deities and the plant of Tulas in one’s house to obtain protection from the negative energies during this period.
The conditions created during floods, earthquakes, riots, World wars etc are extremely adverse. There is devastation, fire, piles of dead bodies everywhere during such incidences. Seeing or hearing about such things may disturb the mind, induce worry or fear. Some may be unable to accept the situation.
The functioning of the Universe continues based on cosmic principles and components. When there is an imbalance in the three components – Sattva, Raja and Tama, that is when the Sattva component decreases and Raja-Tama increase the earth has to face natural and ecological disasters.
Many Saints and Deities have glorified Sanatan’s Ramnathi ashram as ‘a place of pilgrimage’. Considering every little thing here on a spiritual level, Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale has made this ashram an ideal. The meditation room in the ashram is one such example.

To commemorate Mahashivaratri on March 11, 2021 on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha an exhibition of Sanatan Holy texts and other products was held at Patna, Gaya, Samastipur in Bihar and Bhadohi, Gazhipur, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh. This received an overwhelming response from spiritual aspirants.
Ever since I began chanting Om Namah Shivay. This helped in increasing my devotion in Bhagwan Shiva markedly. The changes that occurred in me ever since and my spiritual experiences are given here.
