There is a famous and spiritually active temple of Shri Ganapati located in the Mahal area of Nagpur. This temple is situated in the residence of Nagpur’s famous musician Shri. Madhusudan Tamhankar. The roots of a shami (Indian Mesquite) tree present in this locality is quite far from the the temple. Yet a branch of that tree touches the peak of the temple depicting that it is a spiritually active temple.
