Simple Ayurvedic remedies

1. Fever

Seekers with fever may take 100 ml (1 bowl)* of this concoction thrice a day for seven days (from 6 to 10 a.m., 12 noon to 2 p.m. and evening from 6 to 10 pm) . Given below is the proportion of medicinal ingredients to be used to prepare a concoction for 25 people, to be taken thrice a day.

1 kilogram ginger 1.75 kilograms neem leaves 150 grams black pepper

Crush all ingredients and add to 15 litres of water and boil till it reduces to half. Drink the concoction when hot with a teaspoon of honey added to it.

(Store the concoction in a tea kettle. Every seeker should consume 3/4 ths glass of the concoction. The medicinal ingredients may be altered depending on the number of seekers consuming it.)

*Bowl here refers to a bowl of 100 ml. capacity

 

2. Constipation (no stools or hard stools)

In a plate take 2 teaspoons of castor oil. Dip a peeled banana in this such that it is smeared with the oil all over. Then eat it. Do this twice a day (6 to 10 a.m. and 6 to 10 p.m.) and drink a cup of hot water after eating it. Continue this for 3 days.
