Memorising Vedic mantras increases the size of brain regions associated with cognitive function, including short and long-term memory. Even small amounts of chanting and recitation could have an amazing effect on all of our brains.

‘Since September 2015 at Sanatan’s ashram in Ramnathi in Goa, 20 seekers have been chanting the ‘Dattamala mantrajapa’ aloud for an hour and a half each in the morning and evening session every day.
Om(s) which had appeared on tiles at various spots in Ramnathi ashram have begun to fade since August 2013. On 21.4.2014 they were visible only at two places.
The uniqueness of these ashrams is that all seekers living in the ashram despite following different paths of spiritual practice and belonging to different communities, live together harmoniously in happiness and love.
Burning in the throat, chest or stomach, burning during urination, boils appearing on the body; eyes, hands or legs becoming warm, excessive menstrual bleeding, passing blood in stools are some symptoms of increased heat in the body.
The purpose of sleeping is to give the physical body rest. From this viewpoint ‘the body posture which gives the body maximum rest is the best. This is a thumb rule.
Vaidyas (Ayurvedic physicians) had advised seekers to sit for 20 minutes every day in the morning or evening in the sun to get vitamin D.
‘When doing daily chores or when travelling, we have to lift weights of different kinds at multiple occasions. When lifting them either consciously or unconsciously there is strain on the body.
