Greatness of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale as described by Paratpar Guru Pande Maharaj

Once, Paratpar Guru Pande Maharaj said to Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale (Gurudev), “We are unable to identify Your true form (Your Divine Incarnation); it is indeed difficult for us”. Gurudev simply smiled sweetly. Paratpar Guru Pande Maharaj would always think that ‘Gurudev is an Incarnation and He ought to be able to perceive His true form’.

Paratpar Guru Pande Maharaj was a living repository for numerous Shlokas from the Vedas and Shrimadbhagawadgeeta. While conversing on spiritual topics, He would recite entire chapters to Gurudev. On one such occasion, Gurudev said to Him, “Maharaj, such extensive study of the Shrimadbhagawadgeeta and Vedas You have undertaken! You possess such vast knowledge. I have never studied them in this manner and know nothing about them”. To this, Paratpar Guru Pande Maharaj replied, “You need not study the Vedas. You are indeed the Vedapurush Yourself. Whatever You speak transforms into the Vedas!”
