Divinity in Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale realised through His reading of Texts & their marked clippings for Compilation

Many people have the habit of extracting key points from what they read and preserving clippings as references. Through this, their virtues are expressed; however, only God can grant spiritual experience to others through such efforts. Through this satseva, the One who enhances virtues in others and provides them with Chaitanya (Divine consciousness) is only Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale.

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale teaching organising through His actions

1. Hundreds of Texts read by Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale

Due to intense inquisitiveness about Spirituality, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale has read hundreds of Texts on the subject. Along with this, with the objective that seekers should also obtain this knowledge, their time should not be spent reading numerous Texts, and knowledge on every subject should be available at one place, He marked and selected the important portions from each Text and got them published in Sanatan’s Texts. This mission is still going on.

2. Thinking of seekers

A. Saving everyone’s time

Instead of large Texts, He gave priority to Periodicals. He would say that while writing for a Periodical, authors refer to many sources and, due to space constraints, they present knowledge in minimal words. Hence, one need not read many large Texts. Essential and well-organised knowledge is obtained through such Periodicals.

B. Thinking about others even in the method of marking

While marking, He would consider saving the time of those doing typing, compiling and indexing.

1.  He would put brackets to only the necessary portions. If some words or lines in between were unnecessary, He would strike them out.

2.    If there were grammatical errors in a Text, He would indicate the correct form, so that the typist would not have to search for it.

3.   He would also give headings to the Text, enabling compilers to understand the direction required for Periodicals or Texts.

4.  He would note whether the writing should be included in the Daily, a Text, or kept only for reference. This helped compilers understand how to compile the material.

5.  He would write subject-wise codes (index numbers) for making classification easier.

3. Enhancing virtues in seekers

There are multiple stages such as typing, verifying whether all marked content has been included, and compiling. At each stage, He established a system where the seeker at the next stage could study the material prepared by the previous seeker. This helped seekers identify their mistakes and improve. Thus, a typist gradually progressed through study to the stage of compilation.

4. Spiritual experiences obtained by seekers performing this satseva

A. Since Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale is God Incarnate, objects touched by Him emit a Divine fragrance. Through this writing, seekers feel His presence and experience awakening of bhav (Spiritual emotion).

B. Upon holding marked writings, a lady-seeker would experience fragrance, awakening of bhav, awareness of His presence, Chaitanya, and peace of mind. Through this, she would obtain spiritual energy.

C. Formation of a protective sheath around the lady-seeker : During a subtle experiment related to anti-Dharma writing in a Text, seekers would experience distress on handling it due to negative and distressing vibrations. For the purpose of studying and countering it, a lady-seeker was asked to type the content; however, till the entire Text was typed, she did not experience any distress, indicating the formation of a protective sheath around her.

5. Appreciating other authors despite being at the highest spiritual level and knowledgeable

While reading Texts, if He liked a sentence, He would immediately read it aloud and say, ‘We would not have thought of this, would we have ?’ Even after extracting only the required knowledge from Texts, He would send letters to authors appreciating them, saying, ‘The article was very good’. If the author was from a Periodical or a Saint, He would write with equal affection.

Some examples of His appreciation are as follows :

A. Not just every sentence, but every word in your Text is important. The knowledge in it is unique.

B. Seeing your work in the field of education, I request you to take responsibility for the education sector in the future ‘Hindu Rashtra’.

To ensure that such knowledge reaches more people, He would also instruct to seek permission from authors to publish their writings in Sanatan Prabhat Periodicals and Sanatan’s Texts. In the letter, He would also ask if they had any expectations such as honorarium or copies of the publication. Thus, Sanatan Sanstha provides a platform to bring their thoughts to the masses.
