Purifying our complete body mentally

Mental cleansing of complete body : An innovative method of remedy prescribed by Sadguru Rajendra Shinde for charging our entire body with God’s Chaitanya (Divine consciousness).

Many people have experienced problems such as lack of contemplation, being irritable, feeling like passing out without any physical reason, being extremely exhausted etc. at varied levels. These have an impact on our body, mind and intellect and increases our stress levels. Method of purifying our complete body mentally can be an effective remedy for alleviating all such problems. This remedy can be performed once or twice a day as per one’s convenience. 20 to 25 minutes are sufficient to perform this remedy.

1. Implied meaning of mental cleansing of complete body

Cleansing our complete body does not mean purifying the gross or physical body alone. It also includes purifying subtle body, mental body (mind), causal body (intellect) and supracausal body (ego). This explains the effectiveness of complete body cleansing.

2. Spiritual science behind mental cleansing of complete body

2A. Subtle is superior to gross

Based on this fundamental principle in spirituality, acts performed in subtle such as mental worship, paying obeisance mentally etc. are spiritually more effective. Similarly, mental cleansing of complete body is highly effective – Sadguru Shri. Rajendra Shinde, Sanatan Ashram, Devad (3.8.2013).

2B. Benefit derived from the resolve made by Saints !

The method of mental cleansing of complete body has been prescribed by Sanatan’s 6th Saint, Sadguru Rajendra Shinde. Therefore. those who adopt this remedy will also benefit from the resolve made by Him – Compiler

2C. Where there is spiritual emotion, there is God !

As per this principle, we get God’s assistance according to the bhav (Spiritual emotion) we possess. Therefore, the more we perform cleansing of our complete body with faith and bhav, the more we will benefit from it. While performing mental cleansing of complete body, after intense praying to Shrikrushna, one should maintain the bhav that the flow of Chaitanya coming from Shrikrushna is entering one’s body through one’s Sahasrar chakra and it is cleansing the whole body. It is definite that those who perform the remedy of mental cleansing of complete body with full faith and bhav, will obtain spiritual experiences.

4. Process of mental cleansing of complete body as narrated by Sadguru Rajendra Shinde

One should narrate as mentioned in the audio clip below as if one is experiencing it.

4A. Prayer with spiritual emotion

Let us first offer prayer unto the holy feet of ShriKrushna and try to develop spiritual emotion of surrender within ourselves. 1. I have no one else other that God. God is my everything. Everything else is unreal and false. God is the only truth. 2. My mind is overwhelmed with love towards ShriKrushna 3. God Himself has arrived and is standing in front of me. 4. I am praying unto ShriKrushna with complete surrender, ‘O ShriKrushna, how merciful You are. Indeed, You came and stood in front of me. O God, I am ignorant. I do not know anything. 5. O ShriKrushna, I pray unto You with complete surrender that let me obtain complete benefit of Your presence and Chaitanya. 6. O ShriKrushna, I pray unto Your holy feet that let me obtain the benefit from the sagun (Materialistic) and nirgun (Non-materialistic) Chaitanya emitted from You as per my need. After praying unto the holy feet of ShriKrushna, immediately the flow of Chaitanya from ShriKrushna is coming towards me. The Chaitanya is flowing through the Sahasrar chakra into my body. With every breath, the flow of Chaitanya is spreading into my body.

4B. Step by step purification of the organs of the gross body with the help of Chaitanya

4B 1. Right foot

The flow of Chaitanya is directed towards my right foot. My right foot, all five toes and the palm of the right foot are slowly getting filled with Chaitanya. Now the right foot is immersed in Chaitanya till the ankle. This flow of Chaitanya is flowing through the Sahasrar chakra and through the medium of breath rapidly into my body and it is going towards my right leg. Right leg is gradually getting filled with Chaitanya. The Chaitanya has now risen till the calf and rising further. Now the Chaitanya has risen till the knee of the right leg. Chaitanya is rising further into the body. Even the lap is now filling with the Chaitanya. The Chaitanya in my body is increasing due to the constant flow of Chaitanya from ShriKrushna towards me. Entire thigh region of my right leg is completely filled with Chaitanya.

4B 2. Left foot

After praying earnestly to ShriKrushna that let the flow of Chaitanya from Him also enter my left leg, immediately the flow of Chaitanya is getting directed towards my left leg. All the five toes of left foot, palm of the left foot and the entire left foot is filled with Chaitanya. Every breath of mine is carrying abundant Chaitanya into my body. The flow of Chaitanya coming from Sahasrar chakra is also going towards my left leg. My left leg is now filled with Chaitanya up to the calf. The level of Chaitanya is rising further. My left lap and entire left thigh region are now filled with Chaitanya.

4B 3. From waist till shoulder

Both of my legs are now filled with Chaitanya throughout. Now the Chaitanya is accumulating in the region below the waist. Chaitanya is rising further. Abdomen and the region below the waist are entirely filled with Chaitanya. Now the flow of Chaitanya is entering my stomach. My stomach is entirely filled with Chaitanya. By the grace of ShriKrushna, His Chaitanya is getting accumulated in my body. Entire stomach and the back region is immersed in Chaitanya. Slowly the level of Chaitanya is rising. When we open a tap to fill water in a vessel, the way the level of water keeps increasing in the vessel, in similar way the Chaitanya in my body is also increasing. Now my chest is getting filled with Chaitanya. My chest is entirely filled with Chaitanya. My entire back and chest are now filled with Chaitanya. The Chaitanya is now filling in the shoulder region.

4B 4. Right hand

Post both shoulders getting filled with Chaitanya, the flow of Chaitanya going towards my right hand. All the five fingers of my right hand and the part of the right hand till the wrist is completely filled with Chaitanya. Now the Chaitanya is rising further. It is filling the right hand from the wrist till the elbow gradually. ShriKrushna has showered so much grace on me! My entire body is now enriched with Chaitanya. My right arm is now getting filled with Chaitanya. Gradually my entire right hand is filled with Chaitanya.

4B 5. Left hand

Now the Chaitanya is entering my left hand. All the five fingers of my left hand are full of Chaitanya. The part of the left hand till the wrist is now enriched with Chaitanya. Gradually the level of Chaitanya is increasing and reaching the elbow. Chaitanya in the left hand is increasing. Now the Chaitanya is flowing up from elbow to the arm. My left arm is completely enriched with Chaitanya. Right from the shoulders, the entire lower part of my body is now filled with Chaitanya.

4B 6. From throat till Sahasrar chakra, all parts getting enriched with Chaitanya

Now the Chaitanya has entered my throat. My throat is completely enriched with Chaitanya. Gradually the Chaitanya is accumulating in my face. It is getting accumulated in my eyes too. My mouth is filled with Chaitanya right from the throat. Both nostrils are now filled with Chaitanya. Flow of Chaitanya is now entering both the ears. Both the eyes are filled with Chaitanya. Now till Sahasrar chakra, entire body has been enriched with Chaitanya by God. My body has become a ball of Chaitanya itself. Only Chaitanya, Chaitanya and Chaitanya!

4B 7. Offering a prayer for elimination of distressing energies from the gross body

O ShriKrushna, let all the distressing energies from my gross body get eliminated with the help of Your Chaitanya. I also pray unto Your holy feet that let the distressing energies of the subtle sorcerers get destroyed. All the distressing energies from my body are getting destroyed. All the yantras installed by the subtle sorcerers in my body have been totally destroyed.

4C. Subtle body

O God, please shower Your grace on me. Let Your Chaitanya enter my subtle body too. As soon as I offered this prayer, the Chaitanya began entering my subtle body.

4C 1. Vital body

My pranadeha (Vital body) is getting enriched with Chaitanya. Chaitanya is getting filled in my pranadeha. My vital energy is increasing. Once pranadeha is enriched with Chaitanya, the Chaitanya is now entering my manodeha (Mental body).

4C 2. Mental body (Mind and inner mind)

Chaitanya is entering my mental body. My inner mind has centres of my defects. Oh God ! How many defects are present in my inner mind ! Chaitanya is flowing deep inside my inner mind. Chaitanya is fighting with the black covering created due to my defects. Covering over each defect and the defects are getting destroyed by the Chaitanya. How many defects are there in me ! I must perform spiritual practice to reduce these defects as soon as possible. By the grace of God, the distressing covering over all the defects is getting destroyed. The defects also are becoming feeble.

4C 2A. Chaitanya begins to influence the mind and inner mind

Gradually the impact of Chaitanya on my inner mind has occurred. Entire inner mind has been filled with Chaitanya. Mind also has been entirely filled with Chaitanya. Since all the defects and the covering around them have been eliminated, my mind has become stress free. I am feeling peaceful and energetic. The distressing energy covering on my mental body has been completely eliminated and my mental body has become full of Chaitanya.

4D. Causal body (Intellect)

The Chaitanya is now also entering the causal body. The distressing energy covering around my intellect is getting destroyed. Entire covering around my intellect is getting eliminated. My intellect is reminding me again and again that God realization is the first and final objective of my life. My only aim is to attain God realization and make this birth worthwhile. My intellect is now able to understand all these things accurately. Sattvikta is the might of the intellect. Sattvikta of the intellect is gradually increasing and the intellect is getting enriched with Chaitanya. Causal body has become pure. Vital body, mental body and causal body are getting completely purified.

4E. Supra causal body

The flow of the Chaitanya is now going towards supra causal body. Look at the ego, how big it is ! Chaitanya is unable to penetrate the supra causal body, such big is the covering of ego developed around me. I am trying to get closer to the God and it is because of this ego that I have stayed away from God. The flow of Chaitanya must fight a great battle to get into the supra causal body. Ultimately God wins. The flow of Chaitanya has now started to enter the supra causal body. The distressing energy covering around my supra causal body is getting destroyed. The Chaitanya is fully flowing into the supra causal body. I am becoming aware of my ego. God is removing that ego. The realization that the ego must be eliminated is increasing and now slowly my supra causal body is also becoming enriched with Chaitanya. Such a blissful state this is !

4F. Gross and subtle body getting completely enriched with Chaitanya

Gross and subtle body have become completely pure, sacred and enriched with Chaitanya. I am offering this pure and sacred body unto the holy feet of ShriKrushna and praying to Him, ‘O God, I am offering this embodied soul unto Your holy feet. Please uplift this soul. Please teach me how to perform seva and spiritual practice.’

5. Plea made to ShriKrushna with regards to chanting

5A. Let my chanting happen with concentration

O God, please teach me how to perform chanting with concentration. Soon after praying to God, He has immediately initiated my chanting. My chanting of the Name ‘Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya’ has begun with full concentration. I am going to perform this chanting for some time. My chanting is occurring with concentration and in a rhythm.

5B. Let my chanting happen with spiritual emotion

O ShriKrushna, please teach me how to perform chanting with spiritual emotion. My chanting of the Name ‘Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya’ is occurring with spiritual emotion.

5C. Let my chanting get synchronized with my breath

O ShriKrushna, please teach me how to perform chanting in synchronization with my breath. God is now teaching me how to synchronize chanting with the breath. By the grace of God my chanting is occurring in synchronization with my breath. O God, please also teach me how to focus my mind on the breath alone. God is teaching me how to harmonize chanting with the breath or how to concentrate on the breath only. My attention is now completely focused on my breath. I am fully focusing on the inhalation and exhalation. My attention is focused on the inhalation and exhalation alone and nothing else. My mind is completely focused on my breath alone. Soham, Soham, inhalation and exhalation. By the grace of God, I am getting a divine experience.

6. Plea made to ShriKrushna in various ways with complete surrender

6A. O God, eliminate the word ‘impossible’ from my dictionary itself !

O ShriKrushna, I have completely surrendered unto You. Please keep progressing me to the next state. Teach me how to fight with my defects. Teach me to fight my ego. By your grace nothing is impossible in this world, create this strong impression on my mind. Remove the word impossible from my dictionary itself. Nothing is impossible for God. It is easily possible for Him who created this universe with just a resolve, to remove my defects, to destroy my ego and to create spiritual emotion in me.

6B. O God, I am fine to get insulted at every step, but please keep me firmly at Your feet !

O God, I have completely surrendered unto You. Please keep me in the state which You expect me to be in. Please destroy my ego completely. I am fine even if I get insulted at each step, however, I want to remain firmly at Your holy feet. My defects are harming me, I feel that I am getting trapped in the Maya (Great Illusion). Please relieve me of all this and take me to Your holy feet. I am fully ready to come to Your holy feet. Please keep me in this state continuously. Please always make me aware of my defects and ego. O God, please guide me at each step on how to awaken the spiritual emotion and how to perform eight-fold spiritual practice.

6C. O God, please keep me in the learning state continously !

O God, please grace me with the ability to remember all the things You are teaching me. I have completely surrendered unto You. You are continuously teaching me, however, due to my state I am unable to grasp everything. O God, please keep in the learning state continuously ! Let us offer millions of gratitude unto the holy feet of ShriKrushna with the spiritual emotion of complete surrender. Slowly open your eyes.

Prayers to be offered to remove useless and negative thoughts from our mind !

1. Reason behind the occurrence of sudden futile and negative thoughts in our mind being spiritual, it is beyond the comprehension of our intellect

Sometimes there is sudden occurrence of futile and useless thoughts in our mind. Due to such thoughts, one has to deal with various distresses such as restlessness, negativity and feeling discharged. Additionally, since mental energy gets consumed for tackling such distress, it causes fatigue. Our intellect is unable to comprehend the exact reason behind the sudden surge of thoughts. The reason could be spiritual as well. One of the signs of recognizing this is that such futile thoughts coming to our mind or we being unable to comprehend anything despite the external conditions not being unfavourable. An effective solution to eliminate all these thoughts is to pray to God.

2. Prayer to be offered when futile and negative thoughts occur in our mind

A. O ShriKrushna, subtle sorcerer is implanting futile / negative thoughts in my mind. (…narrate all thoughts occurring in your mind to ShriKrushna.) These thoughts are not mine, but of the subtle sorcerer. Let these thoughts get eliminated completely.

B. O ShriKrushna, please trap the sorcerers who are troubling me through the medium of thoughts, in your noose. Let the weapons of Deities continuously attack these sorcerers so that their distressing energy gets eliminated.

C. O ShriKrushna, let the distressing energy, devices and mechanisms created by the subtle sorcerers to trouble me through the medium of thoughts, be destroyed along with their places.

D. O ShriKrushna, I have completely surrendered unto Your holy feet. I pray to You to please keep me firmly at Your holy feet.

Purification of the gross and subtle body after listening to the audio clip on mental cleansing of complete body recorded in the voice of Sadguru Rajendra Shinde and getting a feeling that this audio file is precious divine gift

In the Raja-Tama oriented environment in Kaliyug, listening to the audio clip of the remedy of mental cleansing of complete body is an excellent means of purifying one’s gross and subtle body. While listening to the audio file, it keeps us in the present state and therefore it helps in purifying the respective parts of the body. Therefore, since all the gross body parts from legs to the head and the vital body, mental body, causal body and supra causal body gets purified, one feels very light. Due to the elimination of black energy from the entire body one experiences that the black energy covering has been destroyed. Therefore, it is important for every seeker to listen to it.

1. Distressing and good subtle experiences obtained while listening to the audio clip

1A. Distressing subtle experience

1. Initially while listening to the audio clip, although the words fell on my ears, there would be other thoughts occurring in my mind. Therefore, there was no effect of the listening of audio clip on me. 2. Later I started listening to the audio clip with the spiritual emotion that ShriKrushna is present in front of me, I am receiving flow of Chaitanya from Him which is reaching to all of parts my body and eliminating black energy present in them. At that time, I used to experience distress and did not feel like listening to the audio clip. Therefore, I could only listen to it partially and thereafter felt like vomiting. I attempted listening to the audio file 2-3 times, however, each time I felt the same distress. 3. Finally, one day I firmly decided to listen to the audio clip of mental cleansing of complete body, entirely despite getting the vomiting sensation. That day after listening to the entire audio file, I did vomit. Post this distress, I did not experience such distress again and started to feel better.

1B. Pleasant subtle experiences

1. Whenever I feel that there is a lot of negative energy covering around me, I listen to the audio clip of mental cleansing of complete body. Thereafter I feel a lot lighter, the negative energy covering around me gets reduced and I feel energetic. Sleepiness goes away and I can perform the seva assigned with diligence. 2. If I feel a lot of distress while performing seva, by listening to the audio clip of mental cleansing of complete body I feel better. Since Saints are sagun (Materialistic) form of God, I experience a lot of Divine energy in the audio clip of mental cleansing of complete body recorded in the voice of a Saint. 3. Vital energy increases due to purification of the vital body. 4. Due to the purification of mental body, the defect centres are getting eliminated, the negative energy covering on the defects are reducing, mind is becoming stress-free and fresh, and I am getting spiritual experience of peace. 5. With the purification of causal body, the Maya related thoughts in my intellect are getting reduced and the firm determination of acquiring God and making this birth worthwhile is getting formed. 6. Due to the purification of supra-causal body, the ego (the main hurdle in the path of acquiring God) is reducing and with the awareness of ego, there is a growing urge to get it eliminated. 7. With the purification of the complete body, I experience unique happiness. I feel as if I have gone close to the holy feet of God. 8. When a prayer is offered to God to uplift this soul, God teaches how to perform chanting with concentration and at later stage He teaches how to chant in synchronization with our breath. Finally, our concentration is only on our breath. At that stage one experiences ‘Soham’ i.e. one gets subtle experience of being merged with God.

Reduction in distressing black energy entirely in oneself and feeling light and energetic after listening to the audio clip on mental cleansing of complete body recorded in the voice of Sadguru Rajendra Shinde

At the beginning of the spiritual remedy session itself I listen to Sadguru Rajendra Shinde’s audio clip on mental cleansing of complete body. While listening to the audio clip, I experience that Chaitanya is entering in various parts of my body, six spiritual energy centres and four subtle bodies, and distressing black energy and heaviness in them is reducing sequentially. Thereafter, I experience that Chaitanya has been activated in those places. Therefore, after listening to the audio clip of mental cleansing of complete body the entire distressing black energy from the body gets eliminated, heaviness and fatigue goes away, and I feel light and energetic. Black energy covering around my mind and intellect reduces, a protective sheath of Chaitanya gets formed around me. When I feel extremely tired or when the vital energy is low, listening to the audio clip of mental cleansing of complete body instils enthusiasm in me. If autosuggestions session is performed after cleansing of the complete body, the session happens with full concentration, and I experience that the autosuggestions are going deep inside my inner mind. In the mental cleansing of complete body, since the chanting is done in one rhythm and later in synchronization with breath, even after completion of the remedy process, the chanting automatically continues in a rhythm for some time.
