Why does the Nandurki tree at Dehu sway on Tukaram Beej Day (The day Saint Tukaram departed for Vaikunth (abode of Shrivishnu) with His physical body) ?

Devotees paying obeisance to the Nandurki tree

Tukaram Beej is the day Saint Tukaram Maharaj left for Vaikunth when still embodied. So for seekers it a day to offer immense gratitude at the Holy feet of the Saint. To commemorate this day here we explain the greatness of Saint Tukaram who with His devotion and immense grace uplifted the whole world with His abhangs.

Saint Tukaram Maharaj’s departure for Vaikunth
when alive itself is an indicator that He was an incarnation

The Incarnation of Shrirama ended with His surrender into River Sharayu. The Incarnation of Shrikrushna became one with the universe after He was struck with a hunter’s arrow. Both who merged into the Five Cosmic Principles were Incarnations of Shrivishnu but Saint Tukaram was the only one to go to Vaikunth with His human body. This alone goes to show that He was not human but an Incarnation.

As Saint Tukaram Maharaj was in a constant state of
spiritual emotion it was as if he was not human but an icon of Divinity

Saint Tukaram Maharaj was always in a state of spiritual emotion. He had very little body consciousness, just sufficient to perform day-to-day activities. The rest of the time He would remain engrossed in the Name of Hari. So despite being alive it was as if He was not living. Those who represent Divinity are like this.

Saint Tukaram Maharaj always in an observer state

His abhangs (devotional songs) stand testimony to His being in an observer state. God alone can identify Divinity. This shows how farsighted Saints are and how They assume this very form and through Their literature spread invaluable Divine Consciousness (Chaitanya) for upliftment of the world.

The tree at Dehu from where Saint Tukaram
departed for Vaikunth sways exactly at 12.02 p.m. on that day

Even today there is a Nandurki tree at Dehu at the spot from where Saint Tukaram Maharaj departed for Vaikunth. On Tukaram Beej Day exactly at 12.02 p.m. the time when Saint Tukaram departed for Vaikunth, this tree sways. This has been experienced by thousands of devotees.

Spirituality has an answer to
everything because it is the only absolute science

Spirituality has an answer to everything because it is the only absolute science. Due to devotion unto God Saints are one with the Universal Mind and Universal Intellect; They are Omniscient. Knowledge received with respect to the Nandurki tree is no exception to this. When a devotee prays God gives him thoughts which he jots down, this itself is called Divine Knowledge. Divine knowledge is received only with the grace of the Guru.

Spiritual science underlying the swaying of the
Nandurki tree at Dehu at the spot where Saint Tukaram
departed for Vaikunth exactly at 12.02 p.m. on Tukaram Beej Day

A. At the spot where Saint Tukaram departed
for Vaikunth the Energy of Action (Kriyashakti) associated
with the Shrivishnu Principle is active in the earth in the form of a current

At Dehu at the spot where Saint Tukaram departed for Vaikunth, the Energy of Action associated with the Vishnu Principle is active in the earth in the form of a current. That is why that spot has special significance. With the combination of three things, the place, time and moment of swaying of the tree, energy from the core of the earth gets activated. The energy of Shri Vishnu coming from Vaikunth comes in contact with that energy exactly at 12.02 p.m. The energy of Vishnu then manifests in the earth and brings about movement of leaves of that tree.

B. It is due to the devotion of devotees
and lakhs of Varkaris that the Energy of Action of Shrivishnu
relative to time, descends onto the earth exactly at 12.02 p.m. on Tukaram
Beej Day, it is in a way a manifestation of the Energy of Action of Shrivishnu

Swaying of the Nandurki tree is governed by the parameters of place and time. Here the energies of both place and time have merged into each other. Saint Tukaram departed for Vaikunth exactly at 12.02 p.m. The energy that descended to this place from Vaikunth is condensed at the Nandurki tree because it is at this very spot that Saint Tukaram and people had gathered. Vaikunth region of Shrivishnu is associated with Energy of Action. Even today at this spot this energy exists in the form of a subtle current in the core of the earth. Also due to the faith of devotees and lakhs of Varkaris energy related to time (kalurja) comes from Vaikunth exactly at 12.02 p.m. on Tukaram Beej Day as testimony to the event which occurred on that day. This is in fact a kind of manifestation of the Energy of Action of Shrivishnu, in the earth.

C. When this energy related to time (kalurja)
comes in contact with the energy associated with the
place (stanurja) on the earth exactly at 12.02 p.m. the Nandurki tree
sways from top to bottom which is visible in the form of movement of its leaves.

D. Witnessing the swaying of the Nandurki tree

We witnessed the swaying of the Nandurki tree and even did a video-recording of it. This great testimony to the tradition of Saints in Bharat is being given by God every year for several years, for the benefit of devotees.

E. When the Nandurki tree sways the surroundings come to a standstill

At that time the surroundings too come to a standstill as if Nature, that is animals, birds and trees are eager to watch this moment and have stopped all activity for it.

F. The Nandurki tree sways as the energy related to
time coming from Vaikunth has assimilated in the earth there

When the energy related to time (kalurja) coming from Vaikunth comes in contact with the place related Energy of Action which has condensed into the earth there since the departure of Tukaram Maharaj to Vaikunth, as testimony to that event, at that very moment that tree sways.
