Sanatan Sanstha participate in the meeting held to prevent dishonor of the national tricolour at Ratnagiri

Collector Sunil Chauhan issues directives on creating social awareness
through various media and on preventing dishonoring of the national tricolour

Ratnagiri, August 8 (news) – Preceding Independence day on August 8, 2019 a meeting was held in the chamber of the District Collector Sunil Chavan in the presence of Government officers and representatives of various patriotic organizations, to stop dishonor of the national tricolour. The District Collector gave orders to the concerned Government officers to create public awareness through various media to prevent dishonor of the national tricolour and to take stringent measures for non-compliance.

To prevent dishonor of the national tricolour recently a memorandum was given to the District Collector collectively by Shri shivapratishthan Hindusthan, Hindu Rashtra Sena, Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and other patriotic organizations. At the beginning of today’s meeting referring to this memorandum District Collector Sunil Chavan remarked ‘Your suggestions for preventing dishonor of the national tricolour are indeed excellent and worthy of being accepted. You are rendering excellent service in this field because of which today’s meeting has been summoned’.

Then he sought the opinions of representatives of patriotic organizations attending the meeting. As part of the national tricolour honour campaign Mr. Prasad Mhaiskar and Mr. Sanjay Joshi listed the campaigns performed by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha through wall posters, handouts, discourses for students, cable tv, hoardings etc. Narrator of the Shivacharitra Mr. Arvind Baraskar gave a suggestion to educate school and college students after which the District Collector issued such orders to the Government officers present there.

1. At the taluka level social awareness should be done through rickshaws, Government hoardings etc. Such instructions were issued to the Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation.

2. School and college students should be educated and pamphlets on it should be released were instructions issued by him to primary and secondary school education officers.

3. Information department should give press notes in newspapers.

4. He gave instructions to the Police to take stringent action against the sale and use of plastic national flags.

After this meeting a compact disc ‘honor the national flag’ produced by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha was shown to the attendees.
