Haldikunku programme on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha to commemorate Makar Sankranti at Baramati

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti participates in the
group haldikunku programme at Thakurki (Faltan taluka)

Thakurki (Faltan taluka), February 2, 2018 (news) – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti was invited to the group haldikunku programme of local women held at the Padmavati temple here. The programme commenced with introduction to the mission of the Samiti and explanation of the spiritual significance of Makar Sankranti, Rathasaptami by Mrs. Doifode. An invitation to attend the Dharmajagruti Sabha at Solapur on February 7, 2018 was given to the audience. After the discourse the women responded saying that they were ignorant on these topics and that the following year instead of gifting materialistic things they would give objects of spiritual significance. Mr. Rajaram Shinde a local provided assistance to this programme.

Baramati (Pune District) – Here a programme of haldikunku was organised on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. A video presentation giving information on Sankranti was given to women attending it. A gift of Namestrips of Deities was given to the women present. An exhibition of the sattvik products of Sanatan was on display here. 119 women readers of Sanatan periodicals attended this function.
