Grand ‘Hindu Ekta Dindi’ (Hindu Unity Procession) organized in Kolhapur to mark the 84th Birth Anniversary of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr. Jayant Athavale

Resonating Chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ Awaken the Spirit of Ram Rajya in Karveer Nagari: Diverse Sects and Spiritual Organizations Unite

Kolhapur: On the occasion of the 84th birth anniversary of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr. Jayant Athavale, the founder of Sanatan Sanstha, a nationwide ‘Ram Rajya Nirman Abhiyan’ (Campaign for the Establishment of Ram Rajya) is being conducted. As part of this initiative, a magnificent Hindu Ekta Dindi was organized on May 10, 2026, in Kolhapur—the sacred land of Goddess Shri Mahalakshmi and one of the three-and-a-half Shaktipeethas.

The procession served as a spark to ignite the vision of Ram Rajya (the Divine Hindu Nation). A massive number of Hindus participated, representing various sects and organizations, including the Warkari Sampraday, Shri Sampraday, ‘Bhagirathi Mahila Manch’, Shri Shivpratishthan Hindusthan, ISKCON, Bhajan Mandals, BJP, Shiv Sena, Patit Pavan Sanghatana, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Hindu Mahasabha, and the Kolhapur District Brahmin Purohit Sangh. The event was graced by the venerable presence of Sadguru Swati Khadye & H.H. Deepali Matakar of Sanatan Sanstha.

Highlights of the Procession The ‘Dharma Dhwaj’ (Religious Flag) was ceremoniously worshipped at Mirajkar Tikti by prominent businessman Shri Jayantibhai Patel. Following this, dignitaries performed a ritualistic puja of the palanquins carrying the images of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr. Jayant Athavale, Shri Mahalakshmi Devi, and Shri Jotiba Dev.

A striking statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj mounted on a vehicle was a major attraction. Shri Abhay Vartak, spokesperson for Sanatan Sanstha, explained the objective of the Dindi. The procession commenced at Mirajkar Tikti and passed through Khari Corner and Mahadwar Road, concluding at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue (Shivtirth). Throughout the route, citizens welcomed the Dindi with flower showers and performed ‘Aarati’ of the Dharma Dhwaj.

During the concluding ceremony, Sadguru Swati Khadye, Shri Abhay Vartak, and Vaidya Ashwini Malkar of Arogya Bharati addressed the gathering. A Marathi book titled ‘Guidance by Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr. Jayant Athavale to Seekers of Dharma’ was officially released by the dignitaries.

Key Moments (Kshanachitre) Martial Arts: The ‘Savyasachi Gurukulam’ performed breathtaking demonstrations of Shiva-era martial arts, reviving the glorious memory of that era.

Diverse Troupes: The procession featured over 50 different groups, including martial arts teams, Lezim troupes, ‘Gada’ (mace) squads, ‘Shahiri’ (ballad) groups, flute players, a ‘Vanar Sena’ squad, Dhol-Tasha troupes, first aid teams, and the ‘Ranragini’ wing demonstrating Lathi-Kathi skills.

Traditional Attire: Women in traditional ‘Nauvari’ sarees carrying Kalash (sacred pots), seekers in traditional dress, and ‘Kshatraveers’ (warriors) demonstrating self-defense added to the spiritual fervor.

Devotional Atmosphere: The chanting of ‘Ram Krishna Hari’ by the Warkaris allowed the people of Kolhapur to experience a deep sense of spiritual bliss.
