Once hailed as the ‘Golden Bird’, India’s greatness did not stem merely from its wealth, but from its timeless Sanatan culture, its Dharma abiding way of life, and the valorous governance infused with courage. Today, India is making remarkable strides in both technology and defence. Through Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces have demonstrated their prowess to the world. Yet, the Nation continues to face escalating challenges. As India advances rapidly, both external and internal enemies are growing equally menacing. The recent bomb blast in Delhi has once again made it abundantly clear that the Nation must remain vigilant against forces seeking to undermine its unity, security, and cultural consciousness. In such times, hollow secularism and appeasement politics driven by vote-bank motives will only weaken the country further. Hence, the re-establishment of India as a ‘Sanatan Rashtra’ — a Nation dedicated to the welfare of all humanity, has become the need of the hour.
With this very vision, ‘Save Culture Save Bharat Foundation’, in collaboration with Sanatan Sanstha, is organising the grand Shankhnad Mahotsav on 13th and 14th December 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi (Indraprastha). This celebration also marks the Silver Jubilee Year of Sanatan Sanstha, an organisation devoted to spreading the luminous flame of Spirituality.

Delhi has been chosen for this grand event not merely because it is the capital of India, but because it is the epicentre of the Nation’s political, administrative, and social decisions. From here, the message of Sanatan culture and patriotism will resonate across the entire Nation; thereby, awakening a stronger sense of unity, courage, and civic consciousness. The Mahotsav will not only be a celebration of Dharma-based life values but will also serve as a call for collective awareness and security considering recent terrorist incidents.
Main events and exhibitions : The principal sessions will be held on 13th and 14th December in the main Convention hall of Bharat Mandapam, under the theme ‘Sanatan Sanskriti Samvad’, where discussions will take place on cultural, social, and National-defence perspectives. An exclusive Historical Weapons and Cultural Exhibition will be hosted in Exhibition hall 12-A from 13th to 15th December. For the first time, visitors will have the rare opportunity to witness Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s legendary ‘Bhawani Talwar (Sword)’ on display. Live demonstrations of traditional martial arts will be another major attraction of the festival.
Voices of National inspiration : On 14th December 2025, a special session titled ‘Sanatan Rashtra for Global Welfare’ will be held, where eminent experts will deliberate on crucial issues such as Naxalism, Terrorism, and National security. In-depth discussions will also focus on strengthening India’s defence policies, cultural renaissance, and the Nation’s inner strength.
A call to participate in the mission of establishing ‘Sanatan Rashtra’ : Before the great Mahabharat War, Shrikrushna heralded the Dharma Yuddha (Righteous war) with the Shankhnad – the Divine sound of the conch. Inspired by that very essence, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale, founder of Sanatan Sanstha, has set the goal of establishing the ‘Sanatan Rashtra’ rooted in Divine foundation.

The upcoming Shankhnad Mahotsav in Delhi will infuse the Dharma-abiding society with inner strength, renewed spirit, and the energy to serve the Nation. When every Sanatani draws inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Hindavi Swarajya and Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale’s vision of a ‘Sanatan Rashtra’, this Mahotsav will not remain a mere event. It will become a resolute step towards national defence, social unity, and Divine renaissance.
