New Delhi: The grand Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav, jointly organized by Save Culture Save Bharat Foundation and Sanatan Sanstha at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, presented a magnificent revival of ancient Indian martial traditions and the valor of the era of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The event kindled deep inspiration for bravery, patriotism, and self-defense among the audience.

The festival featured impressive demonstrations of the weaponry and combat techniques of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s time, along with a live presentation of the Manipuri traditional martial art of Thang-Ta (sword and spear combat). The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti also showcased practical illustrations of self-defense techniques for women against violence and oppression.

A major highlight of the evening was the thrilling live enactment of Afzal Khan Vadh. The performance vividly depicted how the strategic brilliance of the Shivaji era can be effectively adapted to counter modern-day terrorist threats.
