Dr Narendra Dabholkar’s followers and relatives are the two groups of Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS), which are trying to kill his ideology on the occasion of his tenth death anniversary. The groups, inactive throughout the year, are trying to prove their loyalty to Dr Dabholkar by organising several programmes on 20th August 2023. One of the groups directly invited performers from a TV -comedy programme called ‘Hasya-Jatra’ and made a mockery of Dabholkar’s death anniversary. The other group has become more aggressive and, without waiting for Court’s verdict, has declared Sanatan Sanstha guilty. They are just short of closing down Sanatan Sanstha. They have, however, forgotten, due to their extreme imprudence, that this country is governed by the Constitution, laws, and judicial system. Sanatan Sanstha has not been found guilty by any of these systems; therefore, Dabholkar’s followers need to remember that Sanatan Sanstha will certainly take legal action, within the framework of law, against such undue libel. The Sanstha is seeking legal advice to take action against those who are making false statements against the Sanstha and has warned the people who are on the drive to slander Sanatan Sanstha.

The Avinash Patil group is accusing Sanatan Sanstha, while the other group led by Dr Hamid Dabholkar is making false propaganda, as the accused in this case have admitted to committing the crime. Spreading such false rumours by members of MANS exhibits their lack of faith in the judicial system. It is unfortunate that Sanatan Sanstha is made a victim in their internal fight of taking credit by the two groups.
