ABU DHABI: The Spiritual Heirs to Sanatan Sanstha’s founder Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr Jayant Athavale attended the inauguration ceremony of the B.A.P.S. Temple in Abu Dhabi. The presence of a Hindu temple in an Islamic country marks the inception of a global Hindu nation, according to Shrisatshakti (Sou.) Binda Singbal of the Sanatan Sanstha. She emphasized this sentiment during her remarks following the inauguration of the temple in Abu Dhabi, highlighting the recent construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, India, and the global attention it garnered during the consecration (pranpratishtha) ceremony of Shri Ramlalla.

Shrichitshakti (Sou.) Anjali Gadgil reflected on the historical challenges faced by Hindu temples in India, recounting instances of attacks and destruction over the past centuries. However, she expressed optimism about the current scenario where legal efforts are succeeding in reclaiming and preserving these sacred sites. She emphasized that not only are temples standing strong in India, but the construction of Hindu temples in Islamic countries is also underway. She saw this as a testament to the enduring greatness of Hinduism, spreading its influence globally. Shrichitshakti (Sou.) Anjali Gadgil viewed this as a cyclical process, unstoppable by external forces, and interpreted it as a sign of India’s journey towards becoming a world leader or “World Guru (Vishwa Guru)”.

The B.A.P.S. Hindu Temple, the largest of its kind in West Asia, was inaugurated on February 14th by the Prime Minister of India, Hon. Narendra Modi. In celebration of this momentous occasion, the temple administration organized the ‘Harmony’ program on February 15th. Representing the Sanatan Sanstha, spiritual heirs of Sanatan Sanstha’s founder Satchidananda Parabramhan Dr. Jayant Athavale, Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil, graced the event. The inauguration ceremony’s invitation was extended by Shri. Ravindra Kadam, an office bearer of the temple, in October 2023. The program was conducted under the chairmanship of the temple’s head, Mahant Swami Maharaj, with Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri of Akhara, Haridwar, serving as the Chief Guest. Swami Brahmaviharidas Maharaj delivered the welcome speech.

Offering 3 bricks for the construction of the temple in the name of 3 Gurus of Sanatan Sanstha!,

In July 2022, during a research visit to the United Arab Emirates, Shrichitshakti (Sou.) Anjali Gadgil actively participated in supporting the construction of the B.A.P.S. Hindu Temple. During her visit, she called upon the temple, personally inspected the construction progress, and symbolically contributed by offering 3 bricks in the names of the 3 Gurus of the Sanatan Sanstha – Sachidananda Parabramha Dr. Jayant Athavale, Shrisatshakti (Sou.) Binda Singbal, and Shrichitshakti (Sou.) Anjali Gadgil. This gesture reflects her dedication and reverence towards the spiritual leadership of the Sanatan Sanstha in the temple construction endeavor.
