The arti of Deity Durga has been composed by Samarth Ramdas Swami. As it is the composition of a Saint it is basically saturated with Divine Consciousness (Chaitanya). When an arti for a Deity is sung appropriately the Principle gets activated giving energy from that Deity. Besides as it is sung by Sanatan seekers having spiritual emotion and as there is no background music it is even more charged with spiritual emotion. This also explains pronunciation of words, rhythm of words, emphasis to be laid on which syllables etc. Listening to it and singing it similarly will help in evoking spiritual emotion in you as well.

Meaning : Let us understand terms from the arti of Deity Durga. Understanding the meaning of the arti helps in realising the greatness of the Deity and in increasing devotion unto Her.
1.In ‘vārī vārī janmamaraṇāte vārī ।’ vārī means release.
2. ‘cārī śramale paraṃtu na bolave kāhī । sāhī vivāda karitā paḍale pravāhī ।’means even the four Vedas were exhausted describing the form of Devi and the six Darshans drifted during this discussion, rather they too were unable to describe Her. We pray at the Holy feet of Devi that ‘May you too be able to sing this arti with spiritual emotion and enjoy bliss from awakening of spiritual emotion’.
