Distribution of essential commodities
and medicines in Ankalkhop (Sangli District)

Ankalkhop (Sangli District) – On August 11, 2019 on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in Suryavanshi Mala from Ankalkhop (Sangli District) flood victims were provided assistance by Mr. Madan Sawant and Mr. Anil Kadne of the Samiti, Mr. Surendra Bhasme of Sanatan Sanstha, Mr. Ravi Ghadge, devout Hindus from Karad Mr. Ravi Sathe and Mr. Santosh Sarandkar.

Flood victims were given rice, dal, onions, chutney, oil, wheat flour, matchboxes, biscuits, clothes, sugar, tea powder, towels, cotton caps (topi), mats, saris, clothes of children and such other essential commodities and medicines in the premises of New English Girls School in Ashta.

Chawre (Hatkanangale) – On August 11, 2019 at Chawre in Hatkanangale taluka allopathic physicians from Sanatan Sanstha Dr. (Mrs.) Sharadini Kore and Dr. (Mrs.) Shilpa Kothawale rendered the seva of distributing food packets to flood victims in the presence of Mr. Shivaji Gurup, deputy sarpanch Mr. Bhagwan Patil, Police Mr. Dilip Ghodke to 400 flood victims. This place has been receiving aid both locally and from outside.

At Gadag in Dharwad District devout Hindus from the Dharmashikshan class of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha seekers gave rice, meals and clothes they had collected to victims of flooding of the Malaprabha river in Holeallur village. Husband of Sanatan seeker Mrs. Mangala Belari, Mr. Manjunath Belari  gave food and clothes to flood victims in Konnur situated 35 kilometres from Gadag. At Gokak Sanatan lady seekers distributed essential commodities collected from shops to flood victims.

 

Separating clothes and food grain in Kolhapur

Citizens from Old Budhwar Peth and those belonging to the Soldier Group are performing the service of categorising food, clothes and other commodities received as donation for flood victims, in the Shri Shahu Primary school no 14. Mr. Amol Kulkarni and Mrs. Janhavi Kulkarni of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti participated in this seva. Mr. Vishwanath Pandit a well wisher of Sanatan Sanstha too spontaneously participated in this task for 2 days.
