Pune – In a grand ceremony celebrating the ‘Diksha Shatabdi Mahotsav’ (Initiation Centenary) of H.H. Gulavani Maharaj, a legendary Saint of the Datta tradition and the pioneer of Shaktipat Yoga, the founder of Sanatan Sanstha, Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale, was  honored. This prestigious recognition for his extraordinary religious, cultural, and social contributions was accepted by Sadguru Swati Khadye of Sanatan Sanstha on behalf of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr. Athavale. The honor comprised a shawl, a coconut (shrifal), a pearl necklace, and a memento. The grand ceremony of ‘Shri Guru Gaurav Diksha Shatabdi Mahotsav (2020-2026)’ took place at ‘Shri Vaman Niwas’ in Erandwane, Pune

The festival was a historic convergence of several significant milestones. It marked the Diamond Jubilee of the founding of Shri Vasudev Niwas, the Silver Jubilee of the death anniversary of H.H. Brahmashri Shridatta Maharaj Kavishwar, the Birth Centenary of H.H. Yogatapasvi Shrinarayankaka Dhekane Maharaj, and the ‘Yoga-Bhakti Amrut Mahotsav’ (75th Birthday) of the current successor, Pujya Sharadbhau Joshi.

On this occasion, 26 Saints from across India were honored. The event was organized by the ‘Shri H.H. Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati Tembe Swami Maharaj and Shri H.H. Shri Loknathtirth Swami Maharaj Trust’ with the noble intent of seeking blessings from the holy men who guide society toward the right path. The Saints present at the ceremony emphasized the importance of Sadhana (spiritual practice).

The program commenced with the resonance of Vedic mantras, Paduka Pujan, and chants of ‘Digambara Digambara Shripad Vallabh Digambara.’ It concluded in a devotional atmosphere with a violin rendition of the ‘Datta Tripadi,’ composed by H.H. Tembe Swami, performed by Shri Shirishkumar and Shri Arunkumar Upadhye.
