Appeal at the feet of Deities and temple cleanliness campaign planned
on account of birth anniversary celebrations of Paratpar Guru Dr. Athavale
Pune, 6th May (News) – 76th birthday celebration of Paratpar Guru Dr. Athavale, founder of Sanatan Sanstha and source of inspiration for Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, honoured to be the first one to make a holistic demand for Hindu nation, is on the 7th day of the dark fortnight of Hindu calendar month of Vaishakh (7th May 2018). On account of this celebration, local devout Hindus made an appeal at the feet of the Deities in Deity Vitthal temple at Undri and in Deity Ballaleshwar temple at Vadgaonsheri, for establishing Hindu nation.
Following prayer was made during the appeal, ‘Let the attitude of adopting moral values as prescribed by Sanatan Hindu Dharma be inculcated by the Indians. Let those devout Hindus participating in and supporting the activities towards establishing Hindu nation be protected during the upcoming period of calamity. Let their physical, psychological and spiritual distress be alleviated and their spiritual progress happen and let the health of Paratpar Guru Dr. Athavale be in good condition and His inauspicious death be averted.’
1. At Undri, devout Hindu Shri Arvind Shendkar and Mrs. Shubhangi Shendkar performed ritualistic worship of Deity Vitthal-Rukmini with spiritual emotion and later broke the coconut. ‘We feel indebted for the opportunity granted to make an appeal unto the feet of Deities on account of birth celebrations. By getting this seva done from us, God is uplifting us’, were words expressed, with spiritual emotion, by the ladies from the workshops providing education on Dharma.
2. 35-40 people were present while making an appeal to the feet of the Deities in Ballaleshwar temple at Vadgaonsheri. The devotees of Deity Ganesh made a prayer with spiritual emotion. The trustees and the priest of the temple appreciated the work carried out by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Subscription of weekly Sanatan Prabhat was initiated in the temple. The trustees of the temple urged the devotees to definitely read the information on Hindu Dharma and festivals regularly getting published in the paper.
