Programme of public hoisting of the
gudhi in Ishwarpur and Tasgaon Talukas
Sangli – At Ishwarpur in Sangli District group hoisting of the gudhi was done at Renuka, Hanuman (Uran) and Dhondiraj Maharaj temples. Group hoisting of the gudhi was also done at Kaulge and Vasumbe in Tasgaon Taluka. At Vasumbe, on the eve of Gudhipadwa, Mr. Sachin Gurav explained the importance of Gudhipadwa through the loudspeaker belonging to the temple, a gesture which was appreciated by the villagers. Then people went to their respective homes and erected a gudhi there as well.
Jat – At the Basweshwar temple in Mangalwar Peth group hoisting of a gudhi was done. Mrs. Vinaya Chauhan of Sanatan Sanstha guided devout Hindus gathered there.
Guidance at several venues in Sangli District during celebration of Gudhipadwa
Guidance was given by Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Jananjagruti Samiti on the occasion of Gudhipadwa at Kadamwadi (Battisshirala), Tujarpur (Ishwarpunjik), Ishwarpur and Sangliwadi.
Advocate of Hindu Vidhinya Parishad from Kadamwadi (Battisshirala) (Mrs.) Bharati Jain guided the audience. At that time Mr. Shivaraj Awte (Sunny Awte) of Shri Pratishthan and Mr. Vaibhav Kadam were present. 75 devout Hindus benefitted from this programme. At Ishwarpur too Advocate (Mrs.) Bharati Jain guided the audience. This was also done in more than 15 venues in the Districts of Kundal, Tasgaon, Miraj and Vishrambag.
Participation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in the procession at Miraj
Miraj – To commemorate the Hindu New Year a procession was organised by various organisations in Miraj city. It commenced at the ground near the Datta temple. Volunteers and office bearers of different Hindu activist organisations and parties, dressed in traditional attire were enthusiastically joined by common Hindus. Volunteers of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and seekers from Sanatan Sanstha were also a part of this procession. They were carrying banners explaining the importance of Gudhipadwa. The procession concluded near the Kashi Vishweshwar temple. The procession included Samarth Pratishthan’s platoon of drummers, floats of Bharatmata and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, women wearing traditional turbans, and procession of Holy texts which generated tremendous Divine Consciousness (Chaitanya). Demonstrations of self-defence training were also given. Dignitaries present on the occasion were Mr. Rambhau Shinde, Mr. Pandurang Kore, Mr, Sandip Pore, Mr. Madhavrao Gadgil, Mr. Raju Bedekar, Advocate Kiran Jabshetty and Advocate Saurabh Watve.
