Deprivation of statutory rights to Saints has resulted in the failure of democracy – Chetan Rajhans, Spokesperson, Sanatan Sanstha

Mr. Chetan Rajhans (1) during a meeting with Saints at Khadda (Kushinagar)

Khadda, Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh) – At the meeting with Saints organised here today by ‘Bhakti Andolan Manch’, a forum of Saints and mahants, under the leadership of Mahant Ramnayandasji Maharaj, Mr. Chetan Rajhans, Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha said that in the olden days a king would receive guidance in politics from the royal Guru and congregation of wise men. Society too would receive teachings in righteous conduct and morality from Saints. This tradition would receive recognition from the congregation of wise men. In today’s democracy Saints have no legal rights. That is why a mundane government officer who is illiterate in religion dares to lay his hands on a Shankaracharya. Such an officer is making a mockery of the system of righteous conduct and morality of the country. As a result corruption, rape, immorality and self-centeredness have grown. To change this scenario we need a Hindu nation which will give legal rights to those well versed in Scriptures and with authority in Spirituality. This is the only way to curb deterioration of Dharma.

At the meeting all Saints made a resolve to form a Hindu nation. They also promised to invite Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti to all places where Bhagwatkatha, Ramayan katha etc was being conducted and at Their meetings, to create awareness about establishing a Hindu nation.
