Pen, December 20, 2017 (news) – At Vadkhal village here a Dharmajagruti Sabha was held on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. On behalf of the locals on the eve of the meeting proclamation about the Dharmajagruti Sabha was made by beating drums. More than 180 dedicated Hindus attended the meeting which was addressed by Dr. Uday Dhuri of the Samiti and Mrs. Nandini Dhuri of Sanatan Sanstha.

Mr. Rajesh Mokal member of Pen Panchayat Samiti helped with organising the meeting and also for serving food and providing accommodation to volunteers, Mrs. Vanita Mhatre sarpanch of Dolvi, Astrologer Mr. Maruti Mhatre – a Raigad Bhushan awardee, temple trustee Mr. Balaram Mhatre and Mrs. Pushpa Mhatre also helped this cause. After the meeting on December 19, 2017 a follow-up meeting was held at the Hanuman temple.
