Stringent action should be taken against those increasing the rates of platform tickets ! – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Rourkela (Orissa) : The additional rate levied by the Railway authorities on rail tickets every year at Maihar (Madhya Pradesh) and Vindhyanchal (Uttar Pradesh) during the famous Navaratri celebrations there, is unjust and amounts to religious discrimination. The memorandum served by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti stated that this hike in ticket for passengers should be scrapped and concession should be granted to pilgrims. Also those responsible for levying it should be punished. The Personal Secretary to the Additional District Collector, Mr. T.Tata Rao accepted the memorandum. Present at that time were a pro-Hindu Advocate Mr. Brijesh Mishra, Advocate Vibhuti Bhushan Paleyi, Advocate Karamchand Jena, Mr. .Premprakash Kumar of the Sanatan Sanstha and the State Co-ordinator of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Mr. Prakash Malondkar.
