Jalgaon, 30 August – A discourse on ‘The Spiritual science underlying the worship of Deity Ganesh’ and ‘The science underlying Bharatiya religious festivals and festivities’ was delivered on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at the main branch of the Jalgaon Peoples Bank.
Sanatan Sanstha’s seeker Mrs Kshipra Juvekar gave detailed information on how to worship Deity Ganesh from the period beginning from Ganesh Chaturthi to Anant Chaturdashi, the significance of offering red flowers and durva to the Deity, why immersion of His idol should be done in flowing water and the benefits of reciting the Atharvashirsha and the Ganesh Stotra (Holy verses in praise of Deity Shri Ganesh).
Mr Prashant Juvekar of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti provided guidance on the science underlying Bharatiya religious festivals and festivities. The staff of the bank attending the discourse expressed immense gratitude for this invaluable information.
This function was attended by the Jalgaon Peoples Bank’s Chairman Mr Bhalchandra Patil, Mr D.Y. Patil, Branch Manager Mr Rajendra Sonar and other employees of the Dana Bazar branch.
