An open letter to PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah
Sadhvi Pradnya Singh, BJP-MP had made a statement few days back that reason for death of BJP leaders in last few days was use of negative destructive energy by opposition. Recently, Lord Nazi Ahmad, a British MP of Pakistani origin had made a conceited statement that PM Narendra Modi would be the next in the death list of BJP’s leaders. There was also news about Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the radar of Maoists. It is observed, considering the present situation, that life of patriotic leaders, who are trying to take India to highest level, is in danger. Published below is an open letter written by Shri. Chetan Rajhans, national spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha in this context.
This letter is written out of concern and affection, as written to a member of family. Cancellation of Article 370 is a historical event. BJP Government took this step. Every Indian is proud of it. Before Article 370, law of triple and verbal ‘talaq’ was quashed. Giving divorce in such manner is going to be treated as an offence. Triple ‘talaq’ was thus divorced by passing of a law; replacing the Ordinance earlier issued by our Government. Constant follow up has led to such action. On the other hand, drive has been started in States like Assam on the issue of citizenship which might be taken up even in other States and if so, it is welcomed.
Discussions on Article 370 and 35-A of the Constitution were held in Parliament, taking opposition unawares. Opposition parties, as they presently stand scattered and insignificant, could not oppose this proposal. One of the MPs of Congress exhibited his ignorance by saying that BJP should first confirm whether Kashmir was an internal issue of India or issue between two countries. If it was internal matter, why Shimla Treaty and Lahore Treaty were signed regarding Kashmir, was a ridiculous question asked by him showing his level of intelligence. Scholars of Pakistan-India problems must have had hearty laugh on this matter.
Issue of ‘Ram-Mandir’ has become vibrant after triple talaq and Article 370. Let Supreme Court pass any verdict on Ram-Mandir issue, it is going to shake whole India and even the world. There might have been preparations made for construction of Ram-Mandir; irrespective of Supreme Court’s verdict. If it is so, that too is welcomed. Common Civil Code might be adopted in future and there are such issues which are being discussed and on the verge of disposal, through the medium of decisions. We might have to suddenly decide about our policy on China. These issues are causing internal shaking; though outwardly, there seems to be quiescence now.
We are standing at the threshold of a historical period. Destiny will decide how this history is going to be written; but it surely seems to be precarious period. We all need to be alert.
We need to take even more care of main leaders of our country. Jawaharlal Nehru was very popular amongst masses. He enjoyed power like an uncrowned emperor; but he could not bear criticism on blunder committed by him in case of China; leading to despair and his death.
After the war of 1965, Lal Bahadur Shastri also became very popular. He had gone to Russia for signing a treaty between Pakistan and India; but during the period of meeting, he died in suspicious manner in the same hotel. We didn’t say a word on that incident; which was sheer cowardice. It was wrong to accept suspicious death of our leader holding highest post in this country; even though we had good relations with Russia.
Indira Gandhi was shot dead by her security guards Satwant Singh and Biant Singh because army was sent to Golden Temple. Within ten years since then, LTTE soldiers used self-destructive human bomb shredding Rajiv Gandhi to pieces because he had sent peace-force to Sri Lanka.
We have ancient history of Islamic terrorism in this country; still it doesn’t have political status after post-freedom period, as compared to the status it holds in Pakistan. Murder of their former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was out of political and terrorist combination. In fact, Pakistan has history of such political-terrorist murders.
We didn’t take such bloodshed seriously. Murders of scientists and researchers in our country are also taking place till now as if it is happening behind curtains. It is, however, a separate topic. It should be taken note of because several pages of history, which have never been discussed, are full of such killings related to politics and defense.
Likelihood of murder is not just restricted to leaders like you but it is also felt likely in case of many important leaders. We are not writing about the same because only then it would be paid attention, as you must be aware of this situation. Solutions might have been found on it but still I am daring to write it because I felt the urge.
Alertness amongst citizens is very important. These wars are not simple. The dust of opposition’s propaganda will continue to rise even in future. During 26/11 attack, Ajmal Kasab and his accomplices had come to Mumbai with their intention to create havoc. They were wearing red threads sold outside Siddhivinayak Temple and carrying I-Cards of Indian Hindu students. Had Kasab died, all these terrorists would have been declared as terrorist Hindu students and investigations would have been conducted on those lines. With bravery shown by one Tukaram Ombale, this conspiracy was brought to light. Else, tsunami waves of discussions on Hindu terrorism would have kept on hitting us through newspapers and TV channels.
Pune was to come under terrorist attack as part of Islamic terrorism. A bag filled with explosives was kept outside Dagadu shet Halawai Mandir by Katil Siddiqui. A flower-seller however, observed it. The flower-seller asked him to take away that bag; saving hundreds of lives and controlling tension. This alertness needs to be increased by every citizen.
Modi ji and Shah ji, future of this country is safe in your hands; therefore, you have to take care of yourself !
