Demand for the ‘Hindu Nation’ is Constitutional; the word ‘secular’
in the Constitution was itself inserted unconstitutionally
– Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Ramnathi (Goa) – ‘The Constitution of our country is said to be ‘secular’; however, as per Article 370 of the Constitution, there is opposition to inserting the word ‘Secular’ in the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir. As a result, a strange situation has arisen – our country is secular, but the State of Jammu and Kashmir is not secular. If everybody in India has been given freedom of expression, freedom of following their religion by the Constitution, how can the demand for the ‘Hindu Nation’ be unconstitutional ? In comparison, the action of Mrs. Indira Gandhi in 1976 to insert the words ‘Secular’ and ‘Socialist’ in the Constitution vide the 42nd Amendment was unconstitutional. Especially when Emergency was declared and leaders of opposition parties were put behind bars, the powers of the judiciary and media were also restricted. Contrary to this, the concept of the ‘Hindu Nation’ is ancient and encompasses the universe and is directed towards the welfare of the world. Swami Vivekanand had said, “The soul of development lies in Dharma”. Therefore, India today needs development based on Dharma and not physical development.’ said Shri. Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, while addressing the attendees during the inaugural session of the 2-day ‘National Advocates’ Convention’ on 27th May at Shri Vidyadhiraj Hall of Shri Ramnath Temple, Goa.
A resolution to protest the arrest of Adv. Sanjiv Punalekar, who fights for Hindutva within the framework of Constitution and is National Secretary of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad, was unanimously passed in the Convention.
The Convention commenced with the blowing of a conch. Then oil lamp was lit by Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale, President of ‘Hindu Front for Justice’ and senior Advocate Hari Shankar jain, the Founder Member of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad & retired judge Sudhakar Chapalgaonkar, and Supreme Court Advocate Rajendra Verma. The priests from Sanatan Purohit Pathashala recited Veda mantras after the oil lamp was lit. More than 100 devout Hindu advocates from India and Bangladesh are attending the Convention. On the occasion, a Marathi Book titled ‘Hindu Rashtra Akshep Ani Khandan’ (‘Objections on Hindu Nation and their refutation’) was published.
The Founder Member of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad Adv. Suresh Kulkarni read the message given for the Convention by Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Jayant Athavale, Source of Inspiration for Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Shri. Sumit Sagvekar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti conducted the proceedings.

The concept of Divine Kingdom put forth by Paratpar Guru Dr Athavale is materialising ! – Advocate Hari Shankar Jain, Supreme Court Lawyer
Advocate Hari Shankar Jain praised the work of Paratpar Guru Dr Athavale by saying that ‘Guruji (Paratpar Guru Dr Athavale) lit a flame of
Dharmakarya, and presented a concept of a Divine Kingdom which is materialising each day’.
Offer yourselves as samidha in the task fo establishing Hindu Rashtra !
Adv. Hari Shankar Jain said, “Today, the word ‘Secular’ is being misused to garner benefits only for the minorities. One does not expect appeasement of any single religion in secularism, but the reality differs. The government can be secular, but the country cannot. Hindus have religious freedom and rights. The people are fed up of a secular country, BJP which has received the Hindu mandate should implement proHindu measures. The flame of Hindutva that was lit by Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Rana Ranajit Singh should burn within us. If you, the soldiers of Hindu Rashtra, offer yourselves as samidha (offerings to the sacrificial fire), then your sacrifice will fuel the flames and the Hindu Rashtra will be established”.
Burning issues to be addressed in the Convention !
This two day convention will address issues like, ‘Contribution of Advocates in the Establishment of Hindu Rashtra’, ‘Perspectives of
Advocates regarding the overhaul of the legal system and the reality’, ‘expectations of proHindus from Advocates’, ‘the truth behind the baseless allegations levelled against Hindutva, and legal fight to stem the tide of such allegations’ etc. There will be sessions to encourage the exchange of experience where the advocates will share their experiences of effectively fighting the attacks on the Hindu Dharma and the Nation.
