India is blessed with being the home to many holy people. Here are a small number of Them Who have blessed the Sanatan Sanstha in its mission to spread Spirituality and have helped seekers overcome obstacles to their spiritual practice. Saints are often given the title 'His Holiness', abbreviated H.H., out of respect for Their spiritual achievements. In India, this title is expressed as 'Param Puja', abbreviated P.P. We have used the title H.H. in the articles below.

H.H. Baba Parulekar Maharaj

H.H Baba Parulekar Maharaj was born in village Varad in Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra. They were 12 brothers. His childhood was very difficult.

Divine vision in childhood itself: He had lost His eyesight in childhood. Still, He obtained Divine vision. In childhood itself, He got the supernatural power to predict events. Whatever He said proved to be correct. Due to this He used to tell many people about the future. It also included a bad event. Due to His this supernatural power, people from His village opposed Him. Then onwards, He reduced use of His supernatural powers. With the help of this power, He helped about 250 girls get married successfully. Currently, His Holiness Baba cannot see much.

Liking for constructing temples: His Holiness Baba had wish from childhood to construct temples. With this intention He started collecting stones from childhood.

Vision of Sri Dattaguru: In the childhood itself He was blessed with vision of Sri Dattaguru. The place where He was given the vision of Sri Dattaguru, a fig-tree was planted. Earlier there were bushes. Then Baba decided to construct Lord Datta’s temple. Later He constructed Lord Rama’s temple next to it. This part is known as ‘Ramnagari’. The idols in these temples were given by His devotees. Everyday, holy songs (bhajans), arati etc. are done here. People from Mumbai, Thane, Goa etc. come here to visit. Many Saints from various parts of India also visit here.

When talking about Himself, he says that God has kept Him to serve struggling people. I am one of His medium. God had told me to lead worldly life. Now, people who come to me are my worldly life. I feel happy serving them.

Sanatan Sanstha and Baba

His Holiness Baba has given good wishes for all the campaigns. He visited Sanatan’s district Sevakendra in Kudal and main office in Goa. When Sanatan’s seekers had distresses caused by distressing energies, Baba used to repeat God’s Name from midnight to 3:00 am. He also has removed many seekers distresses.

His Holiness Bhagwandas Maharaj

His Holiness Bhagwandas Maharaj is originally from Ahmedanagar, but currently he resides in Kolhapur, Maharashtra State, India. He has done spiritual practice according to the Path of Deliberate Rigour (Hathyoga) since His childhood and hasn’t worn any footwear since last 36 years. He has visited all the holy places in India. Many times, to remove distressing energy problems of others, He himself has to undergo distress.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

H.H. Dadaji Vaishampayan

The full name of H.H. Dadaji Vaishampayan is Shri Shripad Ganesh Vaishampayan, but he is known as Yoga expert H.H. Dadaji Vaishampayan. He was born on 7 May 1920 i.e. on the day of Vaishakh Purnima or Buddhapurnima, according to the Marathi calendar.

His main mission is the spread of spirituality. Whenever He has received awards he has given the money to charitable organisations. Shri Bharat Kate has published a book called ‘Kalyankari Karmayogi’ based on the preaching’s of H.H. Dadaji and the spiritual experiences of his disciples. He went to the Himalayas to perform spiritual practice. During that time he got the opportunity to meet the highly evolved like H.H. Narendraswami, H.H. Hathyogi Balyogi, H.H. Ballalji, Siddha Maheshwari Deviji.

To become a true seeker in order to perform the actions as expected by God, we need to destroy all our desires and the ego and think as if the entire life is like a holy sacrament and Yadnya offered to the Lord. On the occasion of Gurupurnima my blessings to all the Sanatan Prabhat seekers who have been following this principle. Also my prayers to the Lord to fulfill the desire of Dr Jayant Athavale.

His Holiness Gurudev Dr. Kateswamiji

Great Yogi His Holiness Gurudev Dr. Kateswamiji despite being a doctorate of Vidyapith, Pune, has spent many years in Himalayas doing penance and Yoga-Meditation.

Cultural literature writing is as good as inseparable part of His life. He has traveled all over India for creating awareness about Righteousness and welfare of people. Today, (in year 2005) at the age of 99 years, His Holiness Gurudev is making lot of efforts so that thoughts about Sanatan Dharma and culture reach every human-being in this world. He continuously studies and writes for 12 hours everyday about Religion and Cultural literature.

Ashram: His Holiness Gurudev Dr. Kateswamiji’s ashram is situated at Heavenly and peaceful place Vadala Mahadev. This village of ancient Mahadev is about 7-8 KM. from Srirampur in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra State.

Literature of Gurudev: In last 40 years Gurudev has done immense writing work in this lonely place. To publish all of His writing, it will take at least 10 years. The number of His books will be as high as two men’s height.

Konkan's Kurmadas Tulsidas Swami

Up till now Konkan’s naturally beautiful land is being gifted with countless renowned Saints who have been igniting a continuous light of God’ s devotion in the people’s soul and make the path of soul realisation available to them.

Sadguru Swami Tulshidas from Namaswadi which is in Vengurla, Ubhadanda (Dist. Sindhudurg; Maharashtra) is one of the renowned Saints.

On 10th April 1936 “Dattaram Krishna Veturkar” was born, who is known as Swami Tulsidas. Swami was handicap since birth. But even the life long handicap failed to become an obstacle in the path of Soul Realization for Him. He is an ideal example about this.

“Swami Tulsidas” was born in Family wherein his Mother and Father both were experts in spirituality. In the year 1956 his mother died. The grief of His mother’s death made Him introverted. His Sattvik intellect and detachment towards the Great Illusion got awakened and desire to attain God became more intense.

In the year 1956 Saint Tulsidas Maharaj recieved blessings from Sadguru Bhaskar swami from Aakhil Bharatiya Padmanabh Sect (Palghar-Tembwade). Sadguru Bhaskar Swami made him realize the true nature of the self and also gave Him the Guru Mantra. Upon the blessings of The Sadguru, Maharaj started chanting the Mantra continuously. In the Year 1957 he saw the image of God in his Soul after which he was bestowed with the name of Tulsidas.

Sadguru Tulsidas swami’s Spiritual teachings are simple, easy and truly fruitful. To get the knowledge of embodied soul a seeker should totally surrender his body, mind and intellect at guru’s feet and keep on remembering Shri Guru.

H.H. Pande Maharaj

His Holiness Pande Maharaj’s full name is Shri Parashram Madhavrav Pande. He is originally from Lohari Sagova, Amravati district, but is currently residing in Akola, Maharasthtra State, India. He is disciple of His Holiness Bapurao Maharaj Khatkhedekar. He commenced His spiritual practice while doing a job at Akola. Due to His liking for reading He has studied Vedas, Upnishads. When He was teaching His son Maths, He felt energy of Lord Ganesh in number 1 and then He wrote book ‘Spiritual vision of Lord Ganesh’.

 

 

 

 

 

H.H. Raghuveer Maharaj

His Holiness Raghuveer Maharaj’s full name is Shri Raghuveer Bhagwandas Naik. He is from village Bhimapurwadi (Galatewadi) in the district of Belgaon. He was born here on 8 February 1942. Maharaj has done spiritual practice following Ramdasi Sect. His father His Holiness Bhagwandas and mother both were spiritually evolved. Sri Sridharswami gave His father, mother and Himself disciplehood when He was 16 years old. In 1962, He went to holy place Badrinath, India without informing His father. He lived there for six-months and repeated Gayatri Mantra. He met Ramkrishna Paramhansa’s disciple Swami Chinmayanand. He returned to Banda when Swami Chinmayanand told Him.

In 1963, He founded Sriram at Banda, Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra State. In 1965, His father His Holiness Bhagwandas renounced His body. In this year itself, His Holiness Raghuveer Maharaj got the vision of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lakshman and Lord Hanuman in His mighty form. His Holiness Raghuveer Maharaj removes distresses caused by distressing energies. To remove distresses caused by distressing energies to the seekers of Sanatan, upon His Guru’s directives, He performed 11 Panchmukhi Veer Hanuman Sacrificial fires along with His Holiness Pagnis Maharaj of Nipani – Bhimapurwadi, Kolhapur district. His Holiness Raghuveer Maharaj has made a resolve to help the mission of Sanatan.

Yogiraj Dr. Raj Ahmed Hussainshah Patel

Yogiraj Dr. Raj Ahmed Hussainshah Patel was born on 17 September 1928 on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi in village Harkul Budrook, Kankavali, Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra. The Yogiraj Patel’s mother was spiritually evolved and had reached Saint level. His father too had attitude like a Saint.

His father married Him at the age of 19. In this period, Yogiraj got the benefit of being in satsang with Holiness Appasaheb Patvardhan and Acharya Vinoba Bhave. Yogiraj’s met with His Paratpar Guru His Holiness Bhalchandra Maharaj in 1960.

He says, “My spiritual practice is happening to please my Paratpar Guru His Holiness Bhalchandra Maharaj. The only reason I could establish myself as Saint is only due to complete grace of my Paratpar Guru unto me.”

H.H. Swami Janardan Maharaj

His Holiness Swami Janardan Maharaj is disciple of His Holiness Adeshgiri Maharaj. He is originally from Vashi (Pen, District Raigad, Maharashtra State, India) and is devotee of Lord Datta. His Holiness Swami Janardan Maharaj does His spiritual practice after midnight for about 7-8 hours in jungles and lakes. He also performs treatments on seekers to overcome their spiritual problems.
