Messages to Seekers

Messages for the week ending December 24, 2005

For spiritual remedies, light only one ‘udbatti’

When a seeker is having distressing energy problems, or to purify the atmosphere, we use the Sanatan organization’s ‘udbatti’ (incense stick). Seekers light three and four ‘udbattis’ at a time for quick effect/ remedy. As lighting of ‘udbatti’ treats through the Subtle and not through the Gross, one ‘udbatti’ will have the same effect as that of lighting three or four ‘udbattis’ . Therefore, light just one ‘udbatti’.

When feeling tired, go out in the open air and try to imbibe
the divine consciousness (chaitanya) from the sky / atmosphere

Seekers feel tired due to distressing energy troubles. At such times, they should go out in the open air and look at the sky until the tiredness goes away. Since the sky is the most expansive vacuum, maximum ‘chaitanya’ is transmitted through it. As the ‘chaitanya’ is imbibed, it results in reducing the black covering around seekers and increases their vital energy (‘pran-shakti’).

*If one is not currently doing any spiritual practice, or to complement one's current spiritual practice, one can begin with the simple, but powerful spiritual practice of chanting or constantly remembering God's Name according to one's religion. Chanting also acts as a useful complement to any spiritual path one may be already following. It is a practice recommended for the current times by Holy texts and Saints of all religions.

  • To begin with, one can repeat God's Name according to their religion (refer to Issue 3 Clarification of Doubts section for a list of God's Names as per various religions), or the Name that they feel most comfortable chanting.

  • Interested readers can determine the exact chant for them from the experiment given inIssue 124, Message to Seekers section.
