Concept of Ideal World by Child seekers

What would be an Ideal World?

An ideal world would have to be one with peace, so that there would be harmony amongst all, and every one would respect each other. Everyone would be generous and so poverty would not exist. The rich would not get richer and the poor would not get poorer. People would not be judged by wealth but by personality. There would not be evil rulers like Saddam Hussein. In fact, there would not be a president. But there still would be a government. We would not need a military source, as there would be peace everywhere. Nuclear and atomic bombs would not exist. There would be no sickness and crime. There would be no pollution. It would not be like New York. It would be a safe, fresh and clean environment. There would be friendship and trust. People would be closer to God.

Do we have an Ideal world now?

No

Would an Ideal world exist?

Ideal world means Ideal life. It also means that it will never exist. Many reasons have caused me to reach this conclusion. If one were to ask anyone what an ideal world would be, they would reply peace, love, happiness etc. They are right. But the only problem is that the world’s option for wanting this is wasted. The amazing number of problems makes this ideal world impossible. People are corrupt. People are materialistic and there is no way around this fact. There is a saying that the ‘grass is greener on the other side’. All or most of us can relate to this, as we have experienced it at some or the other point in our lives. Hence, one can never be satisfied, so in reality the Ideal world cannot exist

We need to have the bad to see the good in the world or like the Yin Yang theory, where the good and bad exist together. There would be no purpose in our life if everything were ideal.

Solution?

The only way to go about creating an ideal word is to build an ideal world inside us. Normal, worldly means cannot be used to achieve this. It can be achieved by regular spiritual practice only. As our spiritual power increases, those in our contact start changing. It is a slow and tedious process, but we are going to make it. The revolution has already started. Slowly it will gain momentum and gradually encompass the entire world.

Spiritual experience of a child seeker

Spirituality motivates children to do more spiritual practice

As I was driving the car to the children’s satsang, God graced me with the idea of spreading Spirituality with the help of the children attending the satsang. This would give them an opportunity to do seva. I was very excited about the whole idea. When I spoke to a parent regarding organizing this, she said it was a good idea although she was skeptical about the children’s willingness to do it. Unperturbed by her skepticism, I decided to ask the children and leave it to them to decide. After the satsang was over, I asked the children whether they were willing to help in spread of Spirituality, with the aim that it would be our way of expressing gratitude to God for introducing us to chanting* the Lord’s Name, and also spreading it to as many people as we can, so that they too derive benefit from chanting the Lord’s Name as we did. The children unanimously, without any hesitation, volunteered to do so. Even the very quite and shy ones, too. As I was leaving, the same parent came back to me and was very happy at the children’s response and said “Talk about Faith”!

* Chanting means constantly remembering or repeating God’s Name according to our religion. Young children should also chant 'Om Gan Ganapataye namaha' (Lord Ganesh's chant) for at least 15-30 minutes daily for divine protection. Older children, who have been doing spiritual practice for some time, can determine their exact chant from the experiment in Issue 124, Message to Seekers section. Parents should repeat (chant) The Lord's Name for children too young to do so themselves.
