Blind Faith

Blind faith means doing a particular action towards God without understanding the science behind it. In society, 20% of all individuals one comes across have blind faith. Although there is a loss of 10% to society because of this, 20% benefit, since at least some people refrain from doing bad deeds out of blind faith.

We often see pious people, who regularly visit places of worship, and who panic if they don’t. They think that God will get angry with them. We also notice that when people follow some ritualistic worship without understanding the Science, if they miss a step or something goes wrong during the ritual, they feel it is a bad omen and fear God. What is important to understand is that God is beyond such human emotion, and that the sole purpose of the ritual is to progress spiritually by increasing our faith. When efforts in the spiritual direction, such as rituals, are done in accordance with the principles of Spirituality, the result is guaranteed.
