Importance of Satsang as told in Holy books of various religions

”For where there are two or three gathered in my name, I am there among them.”

- The Holy Bible, Matthew 18.20.

Implied Meaning:

Here there is affirmation of presence of God Principle, where two or more seekers are gathered to come close to God, that is, gathered in satsang.

Satsang means company of the Absolute Truth / God (Sat). Here, it refers to spiritual meetings or Holy company of seekers or Saints. Thus, satsang refers to an environment that is conducive for receiving the experience of God. Attending spiritual lectures, going to places of worship, staying at places of pilgrimage, reading spiritual texts written by Saints, remaining in the company of fellow seekers, visiting Saints or the Guru, are examples of a satsang of a progressively superior quality.
