Spiritual vision of Lord Rama during the collective chanting* of 'Shri Rama Jai Rama Jai Jai Rama'

A few months ago, seekers from the Sanatan organization's centers all over the world used to perform the daily spiritual practice of collectively repeating the chant, 'Shri Rama Jai Rama Jai Jai Rama'. This was in order to imbibe the divine principle and qualities of Lord Rama. One day, as I was chanting, 'Shri Rama Jai Rama Jai Jai Rama' with six other seekers in the Sanatan's ashram, I had a vision - I saw that a layer of noise pollution, arising from people and their activities had surrounded our planet. At the same time, I saw seekers on various spots on earth, repeating Lord Rama's chant in unison. A yellow glowing light surrounded the seekers. Rays of this yellow light were emanating upward and converged into one sound-light ray, going towards Lord Rama. At one point I saw Lord Rama surrounded in bluish-yellow light, descending slowly towards the seekers. Since then, every time I chant Lord Rama's chant, I see the same scene and have an inner feeling that each time, Lord Rama is closer.

[Spiritual visions are spiritual experiences associated with the Absolute Fire element (tejtattva), the attribute of form. An object's attributes, namely, the odor, taste, form, touch and sound, coexist with the energy of the object (in this case, Lord Rama's Name). Thus, when chanting the Name of Lord Rama, one can get spiritual experiences of seeing His vision or form.

Protection even in a bad dream after chanting* Lord Rama’s Name in the dream

A few days ago, I had a nightmare in which I saw my old neighbors trying to forcefully enter my house. I could perceive that they were actually distressing energies in the form of my old neighbors. I was scared and immediately started chanting 'Shri Rama Jai Rama Jai Jai Rama' in the dream itself. As soon as I started chanting, they began to dissolve. However, I could hear some more of them knocking at my door. Though I would open the door, due to the chanting the distressing energies were forced to leave. Even though they had surrounded the house, I could perceive a protective sheath around the house, preventing them from entering. I woke up from this dream with a start and realized that I was chanting 'Shri Rama Jai Rama Jai Jai Rama' aloud.

[God has both Savior and Destroyer aspects. The Savior aspect of God protects and uplifts devotees, whereas the Destroyer aspect destroys evil or any problems in a devotee's path. The chant of Lord Rama is one of the chants prescribed by the Sanatan organization, to ward off distressing energy trouble. The effectiveness of this chant and Destroyer aspect of Lord Rama is evident in the above experience.

* If one is not currently doing any spiritual practice, or to complement one’s current spiritual practice, one can begin with the simple, but powerful spiritual practice of chanting or constantly remembering God's Name according to one's religion. Chanting also acts as a useful complement to any spiritual path one may be already following. It is a practice recommended for the current times by Holy texts and Saints of all religions.

  • Seekers in the initial stages of spiritual practice (less than one year) can repeat The Name of the Lord as per their religion (refer to Issue 3 Clarification of Doubts section for details).

  • Seekers who have been doing regular spiritual practice for over a year or so can determine the appropriate chant for them from the experiment given in Issue 124, Message to Seekers section.
