Ability to face job instability and improvement in job prospects after commencing chanting* of The Lord's Name

Our friend has been chanting the Name of The Lord as per his religion and the chant of Lord Datta, ‘Shri Gurudev Datta' for half an hour each daily for the past few weeks. He has noticed that the situation at his work place has improved considerably during this period. Abhijeet is an architect, however, due to a lack of work he had to take a few days off. The lack of employment opportunities was a source for constant worry for him, since if continued, it would have forced hiim to go on unpaid leave. Ever since he undertook the spiritual practice of chanting he has managed to find some or the other professional assignment and has even been able to go on paid vacation. His wife, who works as a research assistant at a university and has been chanting during the same period, too was asked to continue her research job even during the holidays.

[According to the science of Spirituality, almost 80% of life’s problems are purely or partially due to spiritual factors. Thus, spiritual practice is the only effective solution to leading a problem free, Blissful life. To begin with, an appropriate spiritual practice like chanting per one’s religion and the chant of Lord Datta to remove the common problem of ancestors’ souls, will either give the ability to face a problem or remove it altogether.

Reduction in reactions and increase in calmness after commencing spiritual practice

Many positive changes have occurred in my life since I started the daily spiritual practice of chanting the Lord's Name as per my religion. I have noticed that my emotional reactions have reduced considerably, and the feelings of inner peace, calmness and concentration have increased greatly.

[One of the main reasons that disturbs our peace is our own adverse reactions to various situations and people. Despite knowing this and trying to control our incorrect reactions, it is difficult to do so. This itself shows the power of spiritual practice in imparting the much needed peace and inner calm, as seen in the above spiritual experience.

* If one is not currently doing any spiritual practice, one can begin with the simple, but powerful spiritual practice of chanting or constantly remembering God's Name according to one's religion.

  • Seekers in the initial stages of spiritual practice (less than one year) can repeat The Name of the Lord as per their religion (refer to Issue 3 Clarification of Doubts section for details).

  • Seekers who have been doing regular spiritual practice for over a year or so can determine the appropriate chant for them from the experiment given in Issue 124, Message to Seekers section.
