Answer to the Subtle Experiment in Issue 235:
One experiences distress when clapping the
hands with force, which creates loud sounds.
The action of clapping the hands loudly activates
the subtle channel called the sun channel (Surya nadi) of the Spiritual
energy flow system (Kundalini system)
in the body. The energy that flows through this channel promotes spiritual
energy that is predominantly rajasik (active) and tamasik (inert) in nature.
Due to the activation of such energy, one gets a distressing feeling.
Therefore, one should not clap loudly while attending any spiritual discourses
and/or listening holy songs (Bhajans), etc. |
