Messages to Seekers
For the week ending July 17, 2004
Messages to Seekers
Do not pay attention to ‘hearing’ subtle chanting*;
instead, chant with effort and concentrate on it.
    Distressing energies from the sixth and seventh levels of hell are troubling seekers through various media. Since they are powerful, they have the ability to make seekers perceive various experiences. For the past few months, seekers have been ‘hearing’ chanting from within or from outside. Through such type of chanting the distressing energies can achieve the following –

1. By making one listen to such chanting, the distressing energies divert one from chanting.
2. Through such chanting, the distressing energies spread black energy in the atmosphere and pollute it. In a polluted atmosphere more seekers are able to be troubled at one time by them.

    One should concentrate on subtly heard chanting only after reaching a spiritual level of 60%. Seekers below a spiritual level of 60% should chant with effort and concentrate on their own chanting.

Alert parents are the Sanatan organization’s real strength!
   A few days ago, three phone instruments were stolen from the Sanatan organization’s ashram in Devad, India. A notification was published to that effect in the Sanatan organization’s daily Marathi publication, the Dainik, wherein parents whose children were in the ashram during that period were asked to ask their children. The parents of a particular student seeker, who was suspected by the subtle department for the theft, were also informed of it. The boy’s parents searched the house and found the stolen phone instruments. They immediately returned it to the ashram. The parents did not conceal their son’s mistake, but considered the phone instruments as Guru’s wealth. Such parents are the Sanatan organization’s real strength.
Report if any changes occur in one due to making efforts
in the process of removal of personality defects
    To ensure seekers’ rapid spiritual progress, there is currently an internal cleansing drive going on. Seekers have given priority to removing their personality defects and making efforts accordingly. Those seekers who have observed changes in themselves should report these changes to their co-seekers, guiding seeker, and all members in their homes, as well as to the below address. A series of articles on this topic will be published in the Marathi publication, the Sanatan Prabhat, shortly.

*If one is not currently doing any spiritual practice, one can begin with the simple, but powerful spiritual practice of chanting or constantly remembering God's Name according to one's religion.

  • Seekers in the initial stages of spiritual practice (less than one year) can repeat The Name of the Lord as per their religion (refer to Issue 3 Clarification of Doubts section for details).
  • Those seekers who have been doing regular spiritual practice for over a year or so can determine the appropriate chant for them from the experiment given in Issue 124, Message to Seekers section.
