Repeat (chant*) The Lord's
Name for a couple of minutes to achieve some concentration of the
mind. Then stop chanting and look at the following box and note
your perception. The details of how to assess one's subtle

Answer to the last week's experiment (Issue 220):
Figure A was a picture of a chanting
strip,
which was attacked by distressing
energies, whereas Figure B was
a picture of the original chanting strip prepared by the Sanatan
organization. One feels distressed and repeating (chanting) The
Lord's Name becomes difficult while looking at Figure A,
as it emits distressing vibrations. One feels pleasant and repeating
(chanting) The Lord's Name becomes smooth and continuous
when looking at Figure B.
Figure A contains bloodstains, which were created by distressing
energies. Through such bloodstains, distressing energies spread
a layer of black energy around one. Due to such a black covering,
one may feel dizzy, irritable, sleepy, forgetful, lazy, etc. One
may not feel like doing any spiritual activities or even repeating
(chanting) The Lord's Name as per the guidance given. One
may also forget to take precautions and measures against distressing
energies.
Hence, to ensure protection from distressing energies and removal
of any black covering that may be troubling one, it is important
to take daily measures** against distressing energies, along with
daily spiritual practice.
*Constant remembrance or repetition of The Lord's Name (refer
to Issue refer to Issue 3, Clarification of Doubts section for
details on what Name to repeat according to one's religion.)
When done mentally, it can be done anywhere and anytime, as it
does not need purity of body, time or place. However, in the initial
stages it is recommended that one start by sitting in one place
for at least half an hour daily.
** Refer to Issues 185 and 186, Science of Spirituality section
