Messages to Seekers
For week ending February 28, 2004
Seekers, beware of deception by mantriks (practitioners of mantra), and focus on developing devotion to God through individual spiritual practice

The Sanatan’s war against distressing energies is getting fiercer with each passing day. As a part of the war, the mantriks (practitioners of mantra) from the 5th and 6th regions of Hell now do not manifest, but remain dormant in seekers and release the black magic on others seekers. Some mantriks assume fake forms and manifest among seekers. In the difficult times ahead, we have to be very cautious against all such strategies. The type of distress such mantriks would normally inflict upon the seekers in the near future is given below:

Appear in a dream or in meditation disguised as H.H. Dr. Jayant Athavale or H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj or Sri Durgadevi and give guidance.
Take the form of a seeker from the Subtle Department and give some article or to suggest some remedy.
Attend satsang in the guise of a seeker.
Strike up a conversation in the form of an animal or an article.
Deceive seekers by speaking in the voice of a known seeker on the telephone or cell/mobile phone.
Answer our queries or impart knowledge.
Create a difference of opinion among the seekers and thus give them mental distress.
Compel a seeker through another seeker to give auto-suggestions in a wrong manner.
Misplace articles.

To remedy the situation, it is imperative that seekers remain vigilant and increase their fighting spirit (Kshatravrutti). Only if the same dream occurs three times consecutively, should the matter be brought to the notice of the seekers of Subtle Department, and their advice should be followed. No action should be taken on your own, but instead after seeking guidance from Subtle Department. If one has received guidance from a seeker in person or from the voice on telephone, one should get the matter confirmed by meeting the seeker in person. The seeker who completes his daily repetition (chanting*) of The Lord’s Name for five hours a day, will increase his spiritual power and thus will not fall a prey to the tactics of the fake forms of the mantriks. Otherwise, it would be difficult for seekers to remain alive during the next two years. We can perform satseva only if we remain alive. Seekers should focus their attention on how to increase devotion towards the deities through the medium of individual spiritual practice (sadhana). It is only by pure devotion that seekers will get premonition of future events and will be protected by the grace of the Guru or the grace of the deities.

Seekers, let us brace ourselves to fight against the mantriks in the coming difficult days by repeating (chanting) The Lord’s Name five hours a day, as guided by Sri Durgadevi and by adopting the attitude of ‘surrender’! Who knows, tomorrow we may find our names in the list of the victims of the distress by the mantriks! Let us be cautious and vigilant!

Continue the cleansing process ceaselessly

The internal cleansing drive that was recently conducted by The Sanatan is coming to an end, as it concerned old complaints. Under the drive, some of the Sanatan guides have been changed. Of course, this does not mean that the drive is stopped permanently. Internal cleansing is an on-going process that will continue ceaselessly on individual as well as organizational level. Even if one-percent mistake takes places for one second on the individual or organizational level, attainment of the seekers’ aims in individual spiritual practice (i.e., attainment of Divinity) and collective spiritual practice (establishment of the Divine Kingdom) will remain a distant reality.

In order to avoid this, if any mistake takes place in the present period, it should immediately be brought to the notice of the seekers concerned, the responsible seeker, District seekers and the State seekers. If one still fails to get results, one should immediately contact the following Zonal Seekers (in India).

Immediately report any newspaper articles or
write-ups against the Sanatan to the Phonda ashram, Goa.

An article criticizing Sanatan Sanstha was published in the regional edition of Vidarbha region (Maharashtra, India) of Tarun Bharat (a Marathi daily) on February 8, 2004. If any such article, write-up, news is published in your area, immediately forward it, without any alterations, to Sanatan’s Phonda Ashram. Additionally, immediately send your clarification/rejoinder to the publisher of the periodical/newspaper. The Zonal seekers should maintain a continuous vigil in this regard and take prompt action as above if any critical articles appear in the periodicals of their zone.

Along with increasing fighting spirit when repeating (chanting) The Name of the destroyer (marak) form of God, have the spiritual emotion (bhav) of surrender while praying during the repetition (chanting) of The Lord’s Name

H. H. Dr. Athavale: What is the result of the combination of repeating (chanting) The Lord’s Name in the marak tune and Praying in the savior (tarak) form?

Sri Durgadevi: The Marak aspect’s Name is helpful in increasing fighting spirit (kshatravrutti). At the same time by Tarak aspect’s prayer one can invoke spiritual emotion, gratitude and also attitude of surrender (to God) rapidly.
