Repeat (chant*) The Lord’s
Name for a couple of minutes to achieve some concentration of the
mind. Then stop chanting and look at the following boxes and note
your perception. The details of how to assess one’s subtle
perception of an object can be seen in the italicized text above

Answer to the last week's experiment (Issue 211):
Figure A had an intact copy of H.
H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj’s photograph, whereas figure B
had a copy of that photograph affected by distressing
energies.
Hence, one
feels Bliss and Serenity from Figure A and distress from Figure
B.
Holy objects, such as pictures of Deities and Saints absorb the
negativity in the surroundings, thus protecting the seeker from
distressing energies, raja-tama, etc., in the surroundings. Thus,
Holy objects ensure a sattvik atmosphere, conducive to the seeker’s
spiritual practice. When such objects have absorbed a lot of negativity,
they may get distorted and should be put aside after sprinkling
Holy ash (vibhuti) on them and praying that the negative vibrations
absorbed by them should be destroyed and not spread around. New
Holy objects should be installed in their place.
* Constant remembrance or repetition of The Lord's Name (Seekers
at the initial stage should chant the Name of the Kuldevata or
the divine principle as per their religion; refer to Issue 3,
Clarification of Doubts section for a list of the Names of The
Lord to repeat in various religions. Seekers in the advanced stage
of spiritual practice can refer to Issue 124,
Message to Seekers section to determine the Name appropriate for
them to repeat.)
