Answer to the last week's experiment (Issue 207):

     Figure A had a seeker doing spiritual practice when his personality defects were still there in him. Figure B had a seeker who was doing spiritual practice after removing his personality defects. One feels pleasant looking at figure B because the personality defects amount to 70% obstacles in one’s spiritual practice. Consciously removing them furthers one’s spiritual practice and helps one make rapid spiritual progress. Due to the removal of one’s personality defects, one is able to gain more divine consciousness (chaitanya) from God, and the surroundings, too, become more sattvik. Hence, a seeker should make efforts to remove personality defects.
