Many seekers feel
disappointment due to their spiritual
practice not happening properly.
Some seekers get thoughts like, “If we cannot
do anything, then let it be. If not in this birth,
then in the next birth.” Or, ”We should
commit suicide and do spiritual practice in subtle
planes like the nether region (bhuvalok) or higher.” Such
seekers should remember that it is not in our hands
whether or when we will get another birth as a human
being. Thus, the below reasons given by Brahmarshis
will clarify how one can progress spiritually in this
birth on Earth (bhulok) itself:

Destiny can be endured only on Earth. |

Give-and-take
accounts (accumulated merits and sins) and internal
defects (the
six foes) can be
destroyed most easily on Earth. |

Birth
as a human is a gift from The Lord. We should take
full advantage of our life on Earth to make
maximum spiritual progress. |
Hence,
an embodied soul (jiva) makes rapid spiritual progress
on Earth, as compared to on other subtle planes (lokas).
In other lokas, one does not have a physical body as
on Earth (bhulok). Therefore, it takes thousands of
years to make spiritual progress in other lokas. |
