Experiment of the Subtle Dimension

Saints' Quotes

Readers' View

    This experiment needs:
1. A spiritual text (Holy Scripture or text written/compiled by a Saint) and an ordinary text of (approximately) the same size/dimensions.
2. Two identical, thick, non-transparent envelopes that can hold the texts.

Put the holy text in one envelope and the ordinary text in the other. Close the envelopes, place them on a desk and shuffle them around, so as to loose any information about which envelope contains which text. Now look at each envelope for two minutes while chanting*. Note your observation in each case.

* Repeating The Lord's Name as per one's religion.

Answer to the last week's experiment, Issue 127:

In a satsang of 4 seekers, who performed the subtle experiment, the following observations were noted.

'Shri Rama'

'Rama'

Felt pleasant

Felt more pleasant (Bliss, Serenity, etc.)

Felt distressed

Felt nothing

'Shri Rama' is a Name of a higher spiritual level, compared to 'Rama'. Hence, one feels more pleasant (experience of peace, Bliss, Serenity, etc.) repeating 'Shri Rama', compared to 'Rama'.
