Might of Hindus Manifests!
DHARMASHAKTI SENA - Protecting the Nation and Dharma
Tuljapur (Maharashtra) -
Chief of Dharmashakti Sena, Mr. Vinay Panvalkar visited the temple of Sri Devi Tuljabhavani here, to seek Her blessings, on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (6th April 2008) for the success of the Sena's mission. We present here the perspective with which the Sena has been formed, in the words of Mr. Panvalkar.
"We all wish to do something to preserve our Dharma and our Nation. But then charity begins at home. When implementing any great thought in society, the most important thing to start with is oneself. A society which does not think of its protection, which does not fight injustice inflicted on it, deserves to be destroyed. In fact with the passage of time it undergoes destruction. This is precisely what is happening with Hindus and the common man in this Nation. To change this scenario, there are great expectations from the youth. The largest responsibility rests on their shoulders. Let us analyse how competent the Hindu youth or Hindu (that includes all of us) is today. Let alone protecting the feeble, are we capable of protecting ourselves? Are we united for that? Dwell on this and decide for yourself!

The purpose of Dharmajagruti Sabhas
1. To create mass awareness amongst Hindus on various problems affecting Hindu Dharma.
2. To create a platform for uniting Hindus and various Hindu Organisations.
3. To put pressure on the Government to look into various problems faced by Hindus.
A overview of the Sabhas is given in Table 'A'; we reproduce here some significant points.
------------------------------------------------------------
Bhandup (Maharashtra)
Speakers expressed their views on topics like conversions, denigration of Deities, terrorism, Islamisation and Christianisation of history, need for
Dharma-shikshan (education on Dharma), Individual Spiritual Practice.
Vedmurti Dhananjay Vaidyashastri said, "It is essential to devote more time for collective upliftment of the society and opposing the injustice perpetrated on Dharma than devoting time to chanting and individual spiritual practice."
HJS' Spokesperson for West Bharat, Mr. Ramesh Shinde asserted that, "there has been a rise in the killings of Hindu leaders. Hindus do not take a serious note of this."
Kirtankar Rameshwarshastri Maharaj expressed that, Dharma is being attacked from all directions through the
'Anti-Faith Bill', 'Temple Takeover Act', nude paintings of Hindu Deities by MF Husain etc.
Chief of Dharmashakti Sena, Mr. Vinay Panvalkar said, "Hindus should have an attitude of learning for their Dharma and the ritualistic worship contained therein and should undertake the rituals with bhav."
------------------------------------------------------------
Dharashiv (Maharashtra)
Despite torrential rains more than 4500 people gathered in the Pushpak Mangal Karyalaya.
HJS activists shifted the venue from Pushpak grounds to Pushpak Mangal Karyalaya within two and a half hours with fortitude, new vigor and perseverance.
Devout Hindus thus celebrated the Hindu New Year by hoisting a Gudi of Hindu unity.
Torrential rains caused huge damage to the Sabha's property and 4 people were injured.
------------------------------------------------------------
Pune (Maharashtra)
Mr. Ramesh Shinde said, "History should be taught in schools so that students imbibe pride for our glorious traditions, our Nation and Dharma; but today a totally misleading history of Hindus and the Nation is taught by NCERT. The bravery of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and other gallant Kings has been deleted from the textbooks of NCERT. On the other hand, history of the tyrannical rule of Mughal Kings of Delhi has been systematically inserted in the textbooks. One textbook contains a picture of Bharatmata and the matter below it shamelessly asks,
"Will all the castes and religions like this?" Will such false history ever inculcate a sense of pride for the Nation and Dharma amongst students? We will have to girdle our loins to change this erroneous history. This is a Hindu Nation and if we have to preserve it, it is the valour of Chhatrapati Shivaji that should run through our veins."
H.H. Dr. Arun Vijayaji Maharaj said, "Muslims are being appeased on a large scale and such appeasement has become a hallmark for every party. To change the situation, let us strive unitedly to bring back the ancient system of
King-ship."
Dr. Shrirang Godbole said, "The time bomb of Sachhar Commission, prepared by the ruling leaders, is dangerous for the very existence of the Hindus. If it is not defused in time, it will create great havoc."
Dharmalankar Swami Radhikanand Saraswati said, "If Hindus want to awaken masses, they should first create pockets of power everywhere. If even 5% of the monks and Saints come together, there will be a great awakening in society."
Mr. Vinay Panvalkar said, "Divine consciousness arising out of religious behaviour is the foundation of
self-defense and protection of the Nation."
Sanatan Sanstha's Dr. Narendra Date said, "Our narrow mindset that 'I do not mind if Dharma is ruined; but I will only think of my own pleasures and indulge in them' is responsible for our pathetic state."
------------------------------------------------------------
Gadag (Karnataka)
Pujya Sriman Niranjan Pranav Swaroopini Sri Dingaleshwar Swamiji of Dingaleshwar Math said,
"The slogan 'Bharatmata ki Jai' has today become superficial. Women no longer instill the right values in their children like Jijau did with Shivaji. What the tilak-sporting Hindutva activists do everyday for Dharma, is highly questionable. This situation has to be changed; Bharatmata has to be freed from bondage. The only periodical that inculcates the spirit of Hindutva, teaches Dharma and inspires society into action is Sanatan Prabhat."
Pujya Nirbhayanand Swamiji of Sri Ramakrishna Math exhorted Hindus not to live like goats;
"else terrorism, poverty and inconsiderateness will increase. HJS expertise in uniting Hindus inspires confidence that we can change the situation", said He.
HJS' Mr. Shivanand Prabhu said, "Since HJS is not a political party, we neither comment about others, nor do we make false promises. Despite the Court order permitting Hindus to perform ritualistic worship at the
Datta-peeth in Chikamagalur, the Government has not allowed it. The Hindus should now fight unitedly against all such attacks on the Hindu Dharma!"
Sanatan Sanstha's Mr. Vinod Kamat said, "Hindus should give up their 'frog in the well' attitude. It is because of this attitude that damage to our Nation and Dharma is on the rise. To curb this, it is imperative that Hindus do sadhana and abide by Dharma. This will increase their spiritual power and help them perform the mighty task of Hindu Dharmarakshan."
Dharmashakti Sena's Mr. Mohan Gowda said, "Hindu Dharma is under attack from traitors to the Nation and Dharma through activities like terrorism and religious conversions. In this scenario, the Dharmashakti Sena assumes importance in uniting like minded people for protecting the Nation and Dharma."
Participation of Rickshaw drivers in publicity of
the Dharmajagruti Sabha: Posters advertising the Dharmajagruti
Sabha had been put on 200 rickshaws in Gadag; a few
rickshaw drivers themselves came to take the flags
and posters. When questioned about this, they firmly
said, "The Muslim rickshaw drivers put up flags and
posters of their events; why should we not?"
(How many Hindus have similar pride in their Dharma?
– Editor)
------------------------------------------------------------
Satara (Maharashtra)
Saints resolved to establish a 'Dharma Sansad' to fight heretics! They also decided that they will remain present for meetings of sects to consider opposition to any
anti-religious incidents and to fight such incidents unitedly.
Acharya Shivanand Bharati said,"If the Hindu's existence is ended, the Hindu Dharma will also die in no time. The HJS has been established to solve the burning issues of Hindus !"
------------------------------------------------------------
"Satara is the citadel of the Andhhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS). Since its inception, the ANS has not been able to draw such a huge audience in any of its meetings. However, HJS' publicity in just a few days drew an unprecedentedly large audience. ANS failed to gain the confidence of the people in its own citadel! But HJS has managed to do this. In this feat alone lies the greatness of HJS and the dwarfish stature of ANS!"
- H.H. Dr. Athavale, Founder, Sanatan Sanstha.
------------------------------------------------------------
Devrukh (Maharashtra)
Sanatan Sanstha's Dr. Narenda Date said, "Hindus have deviated from following Dharma in
day-to-day life and that is mainly responsible for the present pathetic condition of the society and the Nation."
Dharmashakti Sena's Mr. Vinay Panvalkar said, "Dharma protects the Nation, the Nation protects the society, the society protects the common man. Dharmashakti Sena attaches importance to protecting Dharma rather than a person."
------------------------------------------------------------
Margao (Goa)
Goans resolved to drive away anti-righteous people, as they drove away the Portuguese!
Peethadhishwar of Sri-kshetra Tapobhoomi (Kundaim, Goa) H.H. Brahmeshanand Swamiji said,
"A tremendous change is taking place due to the Saints and these Dharma Sabhas. It is a great boon that many youth are seen working diligently towards this mission alongside the elders. As a result Gomantak will be in the forefront to bear the flag of Dharma. Hence be prepared for accomplishing Ram's mission !"
Mr. Jayesh Naik of Bajrang Dal said, "Every mother should offer one son to become a mavala to fight in the revolution".
Mr. Dilip Betkikar of Vidyabharati said, "Our Deities are being denigrated just about everywhere. In Delhi University colleges, students are taught false History. We have to unite to put an end to all this".
National Spokesperson of HJS, Dr. Durgesh Samant said, "If we forget our History, our future will be jeopardised. We will lose our
self-respect and History will repeat itself. Muslims have always attacked Hindus since times immemorial. The so called intellectuals and politicians in our country too are engaged in this mission. While foreigners are attracted towards our Dharma, Hindus are living an inert life. This is the third Sabha in Goa, organised by HJS in the last three months. As a result changes that have taken place are quite creditable. Organisations like Bajrang Dal, Padmanabh Sampraday etc. and their activists are working incessantly with HJS."

H.H. Bramheshanand Swamiji felicitating Mr. P Hazare |
During the Dharmajagruti Sabha at Margao, Mr. Pruthviraj P Hazare, Editor of 'Sanatan Prabhat' Group of Periodicals, which reach
four and a half lakh people, was felicitated at the
auspicious hands of Peethadhishwar of Srikshetra Tapobhoomi
(Kundaim, Goa) H.H. Brahmeshanand Swamiji, with a
shawl and Sriphal. In a short speech in this honour,
Mr. Hazare said, "The real recipients of this honour
are the seekers engaged in the publication of the
periodicals, not me.
In my absence, while undergoing imprisonment, twice
in a period of four and a half years the periodicals
were published uninterrupted."
Dharmashakti Sena (For Protection of the Nation
and Dharma)

Dharmashakti Sena Rally at Dadar, Mumbai. |
Our weaknesses
At Sangli, in broad daylight a love-lorn youth stabbed
a girl to death on a street. Onlookers did nothing
while this was going on. On the Western new year's
eve, two young women were stripped on the roadside.
We often see people in public places indulging in
eve-teasing. We are helpless because the doer is either
a goon or a flunky of the goon of that area. Yet again,
while travelling we see someone smoke, but do not
have the courage to stop him. If someone does try
to object, the smoker retaliates. How many people
in that bus or train support the one opposing the
smoker? This weakness of Hindus goes back a long way.
When Robert Clive won the battle of Plassey and his
victory rally marched through the streets, he had
only 150 soldiers with him! Later Clive wrote to the
East India Company, "If every onlooker on either side
of the road were to hurl only one stone at us, we
would have been unable to do anything against them."
But they looked on quietly. The state of Hindus in
Bharat today is the same. It is this feeble state
that is causing the state of Hindus and alternatively
the Nation to deteriorate.
Facts on anti-national and anti-Hindu Organisations
Terrorists harbouring similar thoughts as missionaries
exist in the North-Eastern Bharatiya states. Terrorist
Organisations claiming that they function on Islamic
principles are spread all over the country. Recently
a nexus between them and their terrorist counterparts
was discovered in Karnataka. However, some Congress
leaders instructed the officials that they slow down
the enquiry. Parties in power are busy holding on
to their chairs, and the opposition parties in politicising
National and social issues in their interest. Army
contigents and camps are being attacked by terrorists.
Naxalites are attacking Police stations and looting
their weapons. With their communist thinking, Naxalites
are influencing a number of Bharatiya states. In Southern
Bharat, Hindu leaders are being murdered using anti-Hindu
media. In Kashmir too, the modus operandi was the
same. Hindu leaders were selectively threatened and
murdered one by one. Today do we have at least one
Hindu Organisation with firm ideals or one at least
to protect Hindus?
External assistance to anti-Nationalists and anti-Hindus
Terrorists and Naxalites, all those attacking our
Nation or Hindu Dharma receive foreign aid. 'SIMI'
(Students Islamic Movement of India) which has been
banned by the Bharatiya Government is receiving funds
from foreign countries. In Kerala alone this Organisation
receives Rs. 10,000 crores annually, as per intelligence
agencies. Illegal trafficking of opium from countries
like Afghanistan and counterfeit notes circulated
by Organisations such as the ISI is providing these
Muslims with a lot of funds. Foreign communists help
the Naxalites. Christian missionaries also are funded
by foreigners. Now, contemplate on what can happen
to you and this Nation !
We cannot rely on the present Government, when
in crisis!
Recently when I went to a Government office to seek
permission to put up an exhibition against terrorism
in Kashmir, the Police objected because they thought
it will create communal tension; they could not trust
the Muslims in that area. If the police is so frightened
to reveal incidents that have taken place 18 years
ago, I shudder to think how the Police will protect
those speaking the truth. In a crisis, will they stand
by them? This is the big question. They probably act
on orders from their superiors and are too scared
to defy them.
All Hindus were driven out of Kashmir!
If anyone has faith in the Police or the political
setup then remember that Kashmiri Hindus received
no support from the administration, Police and Army.
Kashmiri Hindus hoped that no harm will befall them;
what if there was a murder or two! But we saw what
happened. In the end no one helped them and all Hindus
were forced to leave Kashmir.
Failure of the state administration
The state machinery, which has failed to relieve the
country from the trap of terrorism for over two decades,
has been unable to control the inflow of terrorists
into the country, has been unable to stop them from
being given refuge in the country, has been unable
to control intruders from Bangladesh, has been unable
to restrain Naxalites; what will this machinery do
to protect the common man? What will the state machinery
do where goons freely commit crimes, where criminals
become elected representatives of people and make
laws for the people? Is there any alternative to preparing
to protect ourselves? This state machinery, whether
political or bureaucracy, is full of vested interests.
Protecting the common man is a burden, a problem for
it. If a common man goes alone to a Police station
or a Government office for some enquiry, observe the
treatment meted out to him. In such a state can you
trust anyone to come to your aid? That is why self-defense
and Organisations teaching it are the need of the
hour.
Dharma is under siege because of absence of physical
strength!
A religious quote states that Dharma is maintained
on the basis of physical strength. In the present
times which force is supporting the Hindu Dharma?
There is no Hindu Nation, not even Bharat with a majority
of Hindus! They are helpless against the day-to-day
attacks on their Dharma. What happened to Hindus in
Pakistan (which has a Muslim majority) and in Bangladesh
freed by Bharat? After partition, there were 10% Hindus
in Pakistan; today this figure is less than 1%. There
were 28% Hindus in Bangladesh; today there are only
8%. They were neither helped by their relatives from
Bharat nor by its Government. Neither they nor their
counterparts in Bharat were united.
No task can be accomplished without the energy of
Dharma. This precept holds good for all times. Remember
that simply holding a stick in the hand silences barking
dogs; only if a wind blows does the dust spread and
only if one shouts is there an echo. It is important
to compreh-end this so as to remain united.
What should one do to awaken Dharmashakti?
In today's times man is wishing for a miracle to take
place. God performs miracles only after man has made
appropriate efforts. In a country filled with haters
of Dharma, Nation and society, for the safety of devotees
and Nationalists, to fight injustice and finally to
strengthen oneself with Surajya, we need to unite
like-minded, competent people. From this viewpoint,
with the blessings of Saints and the grace of God
and continuous efforts, the ideal to be followed is
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. When human efforts are
combined with blessings of Saints and Divine grace,
Dharmashakti definitely gets kindled. This creates
terror in the minds of the cruel, and the life of
the righteous and women becomes peaceful. This is
the reason why we require a Dharmashakti Sena.
To protect yourselves & your family, join Dharmashakti
Sena.
