The following is a detailed guide to conducting a bhav satsang.
Namaskar,
I, ……… (The conductor
introduces himself / herself – his name, center
where he is rendering seva)
welcome you all to this Bhav Vruddhi Satsang. [For English
speaking seekers, can say, spiritual meeting for generating
and increasing seeker's spiritual emotion.]
[You are all aware that distress
of negative
energies to our seekers who are engaged in the
noble cause of establishment
of divine kingdom is increasing with every passing day. We
have been receiving direct help from the deities in our fight
against the distressing energies. As ‘God resides where
there is Bhav’, deities will shower Their Grace on
us only if we possess Bhav. The sole aim of this bhav-vruddhi
satsang is to increase the Bhav of seekers towards the Lord.
(This text may be used only in the new Bhav-vruddhi satsang.
It need not be repeated in every satsang.) ]
In order to be able to derive maximum
benefit out of this Satsang, let us piously pay our obeisance
at the Holy Feet
of H.H. Bhaktaraj
Maharaj and H.H.
Dr. Athavale and pray as under :
“Let this satsang which aims at increasing Bhav and intense urge of all
seekers for realisation of the Lord be conducted as per Your expectations.”
Before we start the Bhav-vruddhi
satsang, let us pay our deep sense of gratitude to Them for
their august presence
at this satsang as also for providing us
this opportunity to derive maximum benefit from the satsang. Now we shall
pray to all the deities to protect the seekers present here from the distressing
energies and to create a protective cover around the satsang. (Allot half
a
minute here.)
If the satsang is from 10 a.m. to
12.05 p.m.:
10.00 a.m. to 10.05 a.m. : During the next five minutes,
we shall bring before our vision the form of our deity of
worship (Whose name one has acquired through the experiment
of seven names) as if He/ She is in front of us and with
a most heart-rending appeasing manner, we shall pray to Him/
Her as under :
Let the obstacles in my spiritual practice be removed.
Let me do continuous efforts to reduce my defects and to
inculcate divine virtues in me.
Let my intense urge (Talmal) for realisation of the Lord
increase.
Let my mind, intellect and ego get dissolved while performing
every seva during the day.
Let my faith in the Lord enhance tremendously.
Let my every action of the day become Bhavpurna.
Let my prayers, chanting of name and gratitude become increasingly
Bhavpurna.
Let my spiritual emotion (Bhav) towards my Guru and the Lord
go on enhancing ceaselessly.
Let me have a constant and endless flow of Grace of my Guru.
Let my fighting spirit (kshatravrutti) increase and remain
active for 24 hours.
Let me get strength for my mission of protection of nation
and establishment of Righteousness (Dharma).
