When one utters Names of deities
like Vishnu, Maruti and Datta, one recollects only Their
forms and a few of Their characteristics. Rather, one should
be able to remember the God principle in Them. This holy
book gives information in that regard. For instance it elucidates
the spiritual features of Vishnu, the proportion of the
Vishnu principle in Narad, Vyankatesh, messengers of Vishnu
(Vishnudut), the sacred stone shaligram, etc. It also describes
the Vishnu principle, manifest energy and the ability of
the ten incarnations of Vishnu to bring about creation,
sustenance and dissolution.
Apart from this it gives the
special characteristics of Rama, implied meaning of some
Names and events from the Ramayan, special characteristics
of Krushna, Radha and Maruti inclusive of the special features
of Maruti facing the south (Dakshinmukhi Maruti), the special
characteristics of Lord Datta, His Gurus and subordinate
Gurus, incarnations and sects of Datta and the spiritual
practice to be undertaken to worship all these deities.
