Preface
According to Lokmanya Tilak, who gave
the famous slogan 'Independence (Svarajya) is my birthright',
independence was not restricted merely to emancipation from
foreign rule. He wished to create a new social system based
on the principles of justice, independence, equality and a
sense of brotherhood. Today, several decades after independence,
we have failed to make satisfactory progress in this direction.
Our democracy is mortgaged to the wealthy, is enslaved by
hooligans and is entwined in the web of casteism. It is not
merely politics but all spheres such as the social, financial
and educational, too, which have become corrupt to varied
extents. The general public has become absolutely helpless.
It has become dumb and is mutely watching the deterioration
of the nation.
Some years ago, the people took to
the path of Satyagraha to liberate the country from the clutches
of foreign rule. Now, to release the country from this pitiable
state, we will have to bring about a revolution. When doing
so, we will have to deal with the root causes of the problem.
The very reason for this plight of the nation is a decline
and degradation of Righteousness (Dharma) and morality (niti)
of the countrymen. The revolution that we will bring about
will be based on Righteousness. The rejuvenation of the country
will be a kind of reinstatement of Righteousness. Warrior
seekers (kshatravir), who consider merging with The Lord as
the ultimate aim of life, will have to bring about this revolution.
To achieve this end, they will have to garner the support
of the devotees of The Lord. Though at this juncture this
task seems expansive and a formidable challenge, yet with
the blessings of saints, Gurus and God, success is assured.
Seekers belonging to the Sanatan Sanstha have already commenced
this revolution pertaining to the nation and Righteousness.
If you participate in this revolution, then it shall certainly
prove to be your spiritual practice.
This text elaborates on how the sustenance
of a nation depends on observing Righteousness, the path of
revolution to be followed to eliminate deterioration of the
society, nation and Righteousness, the nature of the Divine
kingdom which will be reinstated after the revolution, how
only seers can efficiently lead the nation, etc. We pray to
The Lord to inspire our countrymen to work towards the betterment
of society, the nation and Righteousness and to actively contribute
for this purpose.
